Hey NS,
I wanted to let you guys know how damn good I feel right now. The reason? I gave a kid a full ski setup today. Brand new red and white T-Wall FT's, barely used surface double times mounted with some smaller rossi bindings. This kid is new to skiing, and hes good. He is fun and stoked and was very thankful. The only thing is that his parents weren't necessarily supporting his want for his own skis and boots, but I wanted to help him out. I know this sounds like I'm trying to make myself sound really good and all but what I hope you get out of this is that I am so fucking excited to see this kid shredding the setup this year and that if you can help someone learn to ski, help them get to ski or help someone in general - do it. It feels fucking great.

BTW GO VOTE FOR THE RIDERS CLUB!!!
They are helping kids do exactly what I'm talking about above!

If I get comfortable financially in life I definitely hope to do stuff like this. Call me a dick or whatever, but I feel like a lot of us don't have hundreds of dollars to just give away...

I gave away a pair of skis last year (1 of 3 pairs I owned). Broke up both my pairs pretty bad and now have no money for new skis.

Maybe somebody will be as charitable to me as I was to them.

Sidenote:
I tried to buy the skis back for $100 but they wont sell, its a shame.

That's a bummer, man. Sometimes when you pay it forward, it never gets returned. Hope you get those skis sometime soon.

OP you're the real mvp! you have all the right to feel happy, hell, even i'm feeling good for you and the kid you gave your gear. i would definitely do the same if i could afford it.

Guys, the whole money things wasn't a problem bc everything fell into place. This whole thing cost me basically nothing. Sorry if it came across like i was trying to flaunt shit. It doesn't need to be expensive at all. I was just excited that this kid is going to become a fuckin skier and hopefully get on this great community asap. Cheers!
