JoshWongI can put in a good word for you. I don't have much power in actually hiring. The best advice I can give people wanting to work at any camp is to get your application in as soon as they start accepting summer apps. And also start volunteering now for kids programs or other jobs with kids. That kind of experience will put you above anyone else

Swandog7Yessss, I did the ramps over this summer and didnt like them at all, they were kinda sketchy and you couldn't spin off the ramp very well because you don't have edges

I'm pretty sure everyone on NS just wants Brooke Potter as their coach anyway. I heard she's the most attractive coach at Woodward. If you promise to get people coaching sessions with her, everyone will come. And you'll still be doing day care.

JoshWongThis is obviously the biggest issue for most people. The best overall value is a barn pass. Go to only 6 sessions and it pays for itself.
If you're looking to come for just one time. We have run different specials in the past. Since I don't work front desk I don't know exactly what ones we are still doin . But we have had locals nights, ladies nights, and the best deal: Woodward Wednesday. Which for around $50 you got a parklift ticket and a barn session.
I would suggest calling to find out if we are still running any of those and what days they are.NOTE: The barn is only open Fri-Mon until Nov.

bensmullenStagger/Scissor your feet (leading with your dominate foot) and pop hard. Depending on the size of the jump you should set your hands above your head before you throw. If you do it like that it should feel like any front flip into water and you should be fine on a 10' jump.

Swandog7When you say scissoring do you mean doing like a knuckle style front flip off a jump or "traditional"

JoshWongI would suggest staggering if you're going to do it off a knuckle. And then off a jump you can either slightly stagger or not at all. Depending on what's more comfortable. I prefer to stagger on smaller jumps and less and less the bigger the jump gets

CHORIZOIt would be awesome to work at woodward! I have worked at a golf course so i am an expert at driving golfcarts around. I was wondering if i worked as like a camp hand would i get chances to get on snow and in the barn?

jackdonovanare there any specific requirements? I'm a lifeguard and know CPR and first aid, so not sure if this would help
