Anybody else prefer skating in hi-tops/ basketball shoes?

It must be the ankle support but i can ollie so much more easily in my jordan mids. I know muska skates in high tops but i dont know of any other pros who use em...

I wear skate shoes that are mid. Granted I don't do street I slide and shit (I hate the word longboard) so the more shoe just feels kinda better in my opinion.

i know youre trolling, but it's from basketball stars wearing high tops


also, a few studies have shown that the high tops dont really make a difference when it comes to preventing ankle sprains and stuff

I like half cabs. They're mids I guess. I've never tried really high cut shoes, But I like that mids sort of prevent you from getting whacked right in the ankle and they kinda protect your achilles tendon a bit better.

It's janoskis all the way for me. I picked up a leather pair at a Nike outlet last year and with the miracle of super glue they hold up well
