So I made a short ski film, any feedback?

Filming: In my opinion it was dope! The first two segments were especially dope. Great angles and it was all pretty smooth.

Editing: It was pretty good in the second segment but I think you could work a bit on having a bette correlation between the music and the footage. Think about the feel of the song and make the editing accordingly.

Music: When Simon and Garfunkel came on I said to myself "finally something different". It is a hard song to edit to though. Again try to show that dark feeling of the music in your editing. But yeah props for doing something different and making edit with something other than "Gang$ta rAp"...

In general I really enjoyed the edit and I must say the skiing was dope as well!

It's not like I'm an edit or film expert but that was just my thoughts :)

Thanks for the feedback man! Going further in this music/footage connection is one of my goal for my next projects actually, I'm planning on doing something a bit more documentary style where you show more of the vibe and lifestyle and not only the tricks.

Pretty sick film, it was well edited and the music matched well. A couple of suggestions though. 1) in the beginning when the camera pans and tilts it is a little choppy and handheld looking. Try using a tripod for those types of shots, it will look a lot more professional. 2) You cut to the skiers a lot standing at the top of the trail or walking up stairs. Using shots of the surroundings, like the chairlift, park, street, etc., would make it flow a little more. Other than that, nice film, I really enjoyed it.
