Blend vs Al Dente vs Filthy Rich

Okay so right now I'm considering some things and I'm indecisive. Help me out ns.

So I'm considering getting one of these three (2016 blends and Filthy Riches, 2015 Al Dentes)

Blends are the most expensive, followed by filthy riches then the Al Dentes (they're pretty cheap rn)

I ski in the Midwest but on Lake Michigan we get some decent powder days, but more cruddy groomers. I'm about 40% park 60% fucking around (side hits, dropping trees and such)

The biggest jump at my mountain is a 35 footer with a lot more rails

I'd love some advice as I have to purchase soon before stuff runs out of stock

I'd knock off the AL dente as it can sometimes have trouble handling a lot of rail abuse. Out the the 3 the FR are gonna be the most durable and rockered.

AL dentes -pretty soft and mainly a park ski, not that great out is of the park
FR -most durable, rockered but stable for outside of the park cruising, jibby, pretty decent float
Blend - best out of the park ski, fairly soft as all 3 are, good for some small pow, best float, ok durability, and a good one quiver ski

I'd go for the FR or the Blends imo.

The thing is the AD are about 120$ cheaper, and have a similar waist width to the blend. Thing I'm worried about with the filthy riches is them being to skinny with the amount of powder and crud I ski

Honestly the rocker on the FR will make up for float and its underfoot stiffness will help at speeds. The Al dente will be more floppy which honestly doesn't help a lot in small pow. Also I can tell you the FRs will last you longer

sounds like you should look at the Kartel 98 instead. fun in the park, banger durability from ON3P to be expected. and good carving on groomers and ripping all over the mtn. The 98mm waist seems a bit more fitting for what you want as well.

Go al dente there are kids that treat there gear like shit and break them in a season but i know kids that have the first al dente they ride a lot and even so they have a solid waranty

I'd say definitely go for the Filthy Riches but if you're worried about width, you could go for the Kartel 98.

If youre looking for a one quiver ski you shouldve stopped looking when you found the blend. its called the "blend" for a reason, its dope on everything. I feel you on the price issue, but the dentes are going to flop around outside the park and not give you what you want when your other places. I cant speak much on the FR because I dont know much about it but IMO blend all the way for a ski that does it all in a good way
