Idea: Addition of a NS chat bar

Probably suggested before But has anyone thought about the addition of a Chat bar at the top of the page. I used to be in a few other Forum boards with a fairly successful and cleanly played out live chat bar. Not sure how it could be scripted in or if it would cause any lag, but its just an Idea.

The NS site is ancient, would be pretty hard to pull off imo

We actually used to have "quickchat" in the right sidebar a million years ago.

Traffic is so high here though that its a pretty gnarly undertaking to build. Possible, but there's loads of other features that should be improved first.

All for The forums (Thats Why I joined) it was just an idea for things that don't really require a forum, or something that needs an immediate response

It would be dope for night time ns. I work weekend night shifts and being able to talk to the ~30 people online at thay time would be pretty cool.
