Hi guys, hope you can help me out.
I just got new K2 Shreditor 102's as an all mountain ski that I will also be taking in the park occasionaly and am having trouble deciding which binding to put on.
I have 2 options:
I have new marker griffons with 110mm brakes that will fit fine and have a jig for. Replacing brakes is also no problem at all.

2nd option is to put on some brand new rossi FKS 140 with the 115mm xxl brakes on.
I can get these for free and then sell my griffons, which sounds perfect as everyone thinks fks are much better and they are free.
I am however worried that the 115mm brakes will be a bit too wide, especially when landing switch on jumps. Do you think I can bend them in a little and not have troubles? I allready placed the heelpiece over the ski and it sort of looked allright, but I'm still a little worried as I dont feel like blowing out my brakes on an FKS...

I will be mounting them tonight, so I need to make a quick decision. I also posted this in the general what binding thread, but didn't get a reply!

General rule of thumb is 15mm is absolute max so thats pushing it.

I think you'll be ok, you can always bend em if you need to, but i don't think you'll even need to do that. General rule is no more than 15mm

When I broke my FKS earlier this year at NZ Open the only bindings I could get were the 140s in a 115 width to use for the comp, and they were fine on my Walls with an 87mm waist for the couple of days of competing until I could swap the brakes for the 95, so you should be good. Also remember that where the heelpiece is mounted won't be the waist width, it will be marginally wider, especially if you mount back from center, so either binding will work, it just depends whether you want the extra durability of the FKS bindings

Its either 100 or 115 with the STH's, and the idea of 115mm brakes on a 102 ski bothers me...

I ride sth2s on 102s w/ 115 brakes and its not an issue... I also am going to have 97 mm wide brakes on 100 mm skis, had to bend them a bit, but its not that bad... You'll probably be fine with the 100s, either they'll already be big enough, or you can trim the plastic or bend them...

also what setting did you mount your bindings at?? im just wondering bc i am going to be shredding these as an all mountain ski as well as hitting the park just a little bit so im hesitant on where to mount them.

Allright, here are the pictures. Skis are mounted at -2 for a BSL of 310. Plastic arms fold in pretty good, so as long as these don't catch I think it will be fine. I will try to bend these in a tiny bit more.
