e~beven if you can source this, i still won't believe it. East Coast has hardly ever been open in october, november if we are lucky.
Mr.noodleEver hear of killington?
russsavokskiswe have like a foot of snow in some parts of alaska right now and it's still snowing.
G_NukecumberWord around on the street is that the hurricane that is headed up the east coast could potentially mix with polar vortex air to form a massive snow storm dumping 100 inches of snow across the whole east. Coast causing resorts to open early and an amazing ski season jump start
Mr.noodleEver hear of killington?
e~brare exception, thats like comparing breck to be open in july like t line. maybe it's jus cause i'm from ohio and have never skied in october
KravtZHalloween a couple years back we got like a foot of snow...melted a couple days after but still pretty epic.
Titus69This is highly unlikely at least in NH where its been humid and very warm the past few days, were just gonna get a ton of rain, last time we got snow this early was a few years ago on Halloween night and we got over 2 feet that melted in a week and then lead on to be a terrible winter, I hate saying it but getting snow early on the east coast isnt always a good thing.

e~bthanks for proving my point!!! most of the opening dates were early november
e~b*** in the past 10 years, forgot to add that
w_skierits not like they couldn't open earlier, when powdr first bought them they had no idea wtf they were doing and pissed off a lot of people by opening in late november. They've started shifting back to october now.
