S.J.WI've never even seen someone driving a telsa. How do they have money?

Profahoben_212They went broke a while back I thought? Then somebody bought them and they are doing much better now. Tesla is badass and I would drive one in a heartbeat.
Granite_StateI've literally seen over 50 driving around in VT this summer. You can get the base model for around 30k...

S.J.WYeah I live in a ghetto and yet I'm on a skiing website...

Titus69I see one or two everyday when I first saw one drive near my house I was excited but they're damn common. Still not a fan of electric cars at all.

JustGoWithItI was able to ride in one this summer. really a solidly built car and the acceleration is amazing. Providing that they get a little cheaper and their charging stations become more common they will be unstoppable in the future.
S.J.WI've seen more ferrari's than Teslas. Maybe they're not a popular car in Toronto? Even though there is a tesla shop next to where I work.
S.J.WCongratulations? You want a fucking medal?

BonzaloDude I'm not against your opinion but as society, sooner or later we will have to had that way. No more car contamination in the big cities, I bet the health improvements would be noticeable.

NinetyFourThe vast majority of mechanics I know right now harp on me for thinking electric is great. Really though it fucking is great. Look at that picture and tell me how that's more complicated or difficult to work on than any of today's combustion engine cars that mostly rely on hundreds of moving parts regulated by hundreds of sensors and several computers.
The torque output of an electric motor is beastly in comparison as well so, it's not like performance will suffer. If we can just figure out how to deliver compact high capacity batteries then shit will be amazing.
Titus69This thing will probably sound fucking sick
36ChambersOfWuI hope you are joking.......
