Found some Weed(help)

A good friend of mine were out riding some trials bikes on his farm and we found about 20 + weed plants.

It was a bit hidden but its definitely weed, we have no idea whos it is, lots of family + friends use the property but im sure none of them smoke

Im thinking of trying to harvest it(dont really know how),.... what should I do????

I'd say leave them. if you were growing and someone went and harvested your effort you'd be pretty pissed. either that or just take a few branches here and there.

My advice is to make sure its ready (by this time it should be) because pulling a plant that isn't even gonna give you yield is stupid and painful for the dud growing it (i know first hand). Rip up a plant and dry it out, the guy will cut his losses and you will still get some that you didn't have to work for.

set up a trail cam, a good hidden one. find out who's it is and if you're on good terms you could always approach them about it

Cass, Be smart bro, I would first install a deer camera, one of those motion activated shits so that is isn't visible AT ALL. Then during the day check of traps, like fish hooks hanging, or even a trip wire or bear trap, because in the Murder Mitten it is super possible. If you get the person on camera, notice how they walk and see if they are armed or not. Go back during the day "Armed yourself for protection" and harvest however much you want and go crazy, then report to the police because you don't need the trouble of a dope farmer on the property.

Before you install a deer camera make sure they don't have one installed already. Last thing you'd want is them to see you installing a deer camera by their stuff.

its your land, and honestly I'd at least consider calling the cops. While taking a little might seem chill, and if its a chill grower they probably wouldn't care since you're letting them grow on your land,but you don't know whose it is.

You don't know how pissed they may or may not be, you don't know if they are in a gang or are violent. Even if the odds are low, the fact that you even found it might have tipped them off to you knowing about it. Anyone growing product worth that much money on property they don't own probably has a plan for if they get found, and you may or may not be a fan of that plan.

While I think calling the cops to tattle about some weed is lame, I'd consider me and my families safety a bigger issue.

But if you call the cops do this first, free weed is never something to pass up. And they're trespassing, don't feel bad for taking what a criminal left on your property.

3. Confront in a friendly way
4. Negotiate rent/free weed.

Don't call the cops, its just weed, trespassing is more serious to me then someone growing weed, but this could work out in your favor.

From my experience with serious growers, do not take their weed, very bad idea. However, i would try and meet the guy and negotiolate with him to sell you an O or something for very cheap.

Thats awesome, if youre gonna steal some take a bit at a time so its not noticeable. Dont tell anyone, keep it lowkey so that your idiot friends find it or the cops find out, the last thing I need to hear is another grower of pot getting busted while heroin is becoming the new thing to do at least in NH it is.

Wait for it to get fully ripe let 1 very close friend in on it and take the whole crop why leave weed for someone trespassing on your land. Take it nothing is bad will happen trust me I've poached a few outdoor grows and I live in a urbanish area with gangs. Free weed is the best weed. Your gunna want a friend though processing more then a couple plants can be very time consuming if done properly. And if your gunna rob someone's crop might as well harvest, trim, and cure it properly. I've seen alot of great bud ruined by people who either didn't know what they were doing or was trying to rush the trimming curing process so they can get high sooner

I used to grow. It's pretty easy. Look online for information about harvest timing and process.

The fact they are trespassing and growing on your land raises some interesting issues. I wouldn't be surprised if you know the person growing it, you might be shocked to know who's into that sort of thing.

If you don't know them then you should charge like 20-30% rent, aka 5 plants or so. It is your property after all.

He's out what $20 per plant clones are dirt cheep bro outdoor weed costs next to nothing to grow. Who knows maybe he's using some type of nutrients and is out another 50, either way cheeper then fines for growing on someone's property

Ehhh its really not just weed, its a giant pile of growing money. Even if weed and its typical smokers are chill, ANYONE dealing with big money illegally is going to want to keep all of that money. Even if they're down to make a deal, theres a real chance they won't be. And then what is your plan?

For every chill stoner there is another totally unchill greedy dealer trying to hustle someone. The higher up the weed chain you go, the more greedy they get. The honest ones grow on their own land. I would most deffinitley not try to make a deal outright, OP doesn't even know for sure they werent there hiding when you discovered it.

If it wasn't your own property, or it was just a plant or two, I would tell you to take a bit, or try to talk to them to get a few nugs. But you stumbled on big money. People take big actions to protect big money. Don't be on the wrong end of it.

find the guy, if he's a douche tell him to pack up and go or you will call the cops (no need to call the cops right off the bat cause it's just weed) if he's chill just ask him for some, I'm sure he would be willing to give you a couple nugs cause it's your property. But also I don't know where you are so I don't know the laws but it could be perfectly legal, he could have his medical card and could be growing lawfully.

THe guy probably has 20 plants growing in about 30-40 different spots knowing he will lose a handful of them to lucky scavengers. They aren't going to kill the OP over this ya buffoon. Now if OP found an indoor grow house with 2,000 plants and broke in and stole them maybe then he'd have a problem.





OP I'd take at least half of the stash. Discourage him from growing on your property in the future leave half if you want to be nice and take it all if you don't. Don't take just a few plants that is dumb. Don't wait too long to harvest or you will show up and the guy will have already came and got his shit. Keep quiet about it and keep it in some nice jars curing and just always have buds. Don't sell it in bulk just move a gram or a henry to pals now and then.

20 plants is roughly 3.5 ounce per plant outdoor. And ounce is sayyy 150 sold in bulk. Thats 10k. Plenty of people will shoot over 10k.

Wild hemp was once a valuable plant because its fibers had industrial uses and was farmed heavily during world war 2. Because of this widespread farming it grows wild in a lot of regions. Whatever you do don't smoke it, wild hemp is a close family member to weed but trying to smoke it can make a person very sick.

I bet money that the grower is not trespassing, because you already know the person. While 20 plants is not a plantation, its a pretty large size plot to go unnoticed on some random guys farm. I grew up on a farm and all my buddy's dad's grew on their properties, and this sounds to me like a similar situation.

The City of Detroit is mainly chill. The Suburbs are super well off, like Grosse Point and all. The only parts you need to be wary about are the industrialized zones. Typically lower income of all Detroit with plenty of abandoned houses and all. If you don't bother anyone or go to a drug spot, you will be left alone.
