Pros that wear small skis

What pros are there that wear small skis, Tom used to I mean watching refresh for the first time In a while yesterday I realized his skis looked like they would barely reach his chin. Any other pros yoi guys can think of?

I'm not the smartest man on NS, but I'm 99% sure no pro wears skis. But hey gave me a beautiful fashion idea.


Looking for investors for new ski based fashion wardrobe. Make yourself look like optimus prime and a beast mode robot.

im 6'1 and ski 159's, i can 270 out im pretty much pro by now

it ranges quite a bit. Take wood day and bobby. Woodsy is prob 5'8 and bobby is 6'2 and they both ski the 182 NFx. More importantly though they don't actually weigh that much different bobby is only a little heavier and that explains why they can ride the same size.

Sandy boevile is 6'0 but rides the 176 talisman which would seem short but he says they offer plenty of float and stability for him.

People le tend to forget that the ski makes a difference. A stiffer ski will surport you better so you may be able to ride a shorter size.

A softer ski will not be as stable in general so you generally up size to gain that stability.

its this reason you often see the comp guys on seemingly small skis as comp skis tend to be stiffer so even though they go huge the skis tey ride mean they can go shorter to save weight and swing weight.

Back in the 2007-2011 era when being thug was a must, smaller skis were common. Average twin tip size was 172.

I'm 6' and my new policy is I'm not touching a ski unless its at least 188.

Jesper Tjader uses the Head Caddy Jr (or at least he did for a bit), but he's also pretty tiny (short and skinny).

dont sweat it. I was rocking 148s last year and I'm about 5'6. I was like 5'1 though when i had em. Still pretty dam small. Im rocking some 168/170s now

Im pretty sure Andy has to use short skis with all of those wizard tricks. he would not be able to do the tricks as fluently as he dose with long skis. On a second note I know jasper has some pretty short skis so if you ever watch some of his POV's its because of that and because he is super light.

Yeah back in 2007 at 6ft I was riding 169s and there was no way I would have gone longer than that.

went from using 144 afterbangs to 175 iron maidens a few years ago. Not sure on my height then but im guessing around 5'8"

Haha me to im 5'6' and skis rossignol 148s and 150s last year and he year before that and the year before that now on 166s and 169s
