Look spx 12 popping when leaning back

So I just got new skis and have the look spx 12's on them and i was just doing a couple of tail presses on them and noticed that when ever i do one the part which holds you boot in pops up a centimetre or so and has a loud popping sound. Is there any way to fix this problem or do i not have to do tail presses?

I have no experience with the Look Spx 12s but it sounds like your binding is slightly too large for your boot and you may want to move it in a bit closer.

Its not the boot because i can pull the piece up with out the boot in it

Its the black piece right here

There are several black pieces there, which one exactly?

If it's one of the toe wings, if your boot is moving in the wing, either your forward pressure is miles wrong or a piece is broken off the toe wing, which will mean taking them to a shop to get checked out either way.
If the toe wing itself is moving, the binding is probably screwed, again, take it to a shop.

Yea that should not happen and if you just got the skis and bindings mounted take them back to shop you had them mounted at band shown them the problem and they should hopefully fix it for free.

with both pairs of my 140 toes they do this. except mine theres not much movement., but rather just a pop of the plastic. for me its nothing wrong, just the toe wings moving a mm or two. which with an all plastic toe isnt anything out of the ordinary
