So everyone swore by how sweet pay pal was and I gave them another shot. Had a sticker that was a big hit and decided to sell it online.

I have $459 in money pending on paypal. I have sent everyone their stickers(other than the last few that just came in)


Paypal told me "If you do nothing, this money will automatically be moved to your available balance and released to you in 21 days (as long as there are no problems with your orders)" regarding the pending money in my account. That was fine. I didn't need the money right then anyway.

Now I'm getting emails that paypal is going to cancel the payments in 5-6 days

So basically I'm going to be out $459 of orders I've filled. People have their stickers, I just don't have their money.

What should i do?

I'm thinking of opening a new bank account tomorrow, linking it to my paypal, taking the money out and then closing it. After this set of transactions I plan on using one of paypals competitors. Pay pal can suck my dick.

Any other ideas?

Contact Paypal ASAP. They have historically had a pretty good reputation with their customer service and I'm sure they will hash these things out with you. Submit a ticket, get all the ticket information, and use that as a reference when you call them.

is it not in your paypal balance? If you claimed the money to your paypal account it should be able to live there as long as you want.. I've never had any issues with it

It's all good. Just making an alternate bank account tomorrow and putting all my money from there into that.

I got rid of my other bank accounts and only have 1 now. And with some of what I've read about pay pal, and how shitty their customer service has been for me I just didn't want them to have all my info.

So this seems like a good enough compromise.

Crazy that in tons of emails I never once got a hold of somebody who was in anyway helpful or cared to be. One call at 10 pm and some indian lady crushed it on the customer service game.

Note to self, never email paypal about anything.
