So The News Is Just A Bad Tv Show These Days?

Most of these tv shows push a plot, and then at the end it's different so they can be all "Gotcha! I bet you didn't see that coming".

Now the news seems to be doing the same thing. The clock kid and other ones.

Something happens. A side get's pushed to get everybody into a frenzy, then a week later it turns out they were lying about this or that or "new information" comes out and get's everyone back into a frenzy/ keeps it front page worthy.

What the fuck is this shit? This is why I don't watch the news. Just seeing bits and pieces of this stuff online makes me WUT.

I have gotten so pissed off at mainstream news so I normally just follow Anti-Media and other news like that. Also John Oliver is awesome. They do real news on shit that should be reported on. I mean I'm sure they leave some stuff unreported on, but I feel like it actually addresses real issues, and not just what gets the most hits. Vice used to be good, but then it got bought out and for the most part has turned to shit.

Tomorrow I'm going to watch the news and find out that Ahmed wasn't rally a boy, but actually an alien sent to destroy out planet, and trayvon was actually a duck and no people were killed.

John Oliver is the only funny and watchable news satire show. Stewart and Colbert I just never found funny. Oliver does lean a little to the left, but it's not like watching MSNBC or Fox News. Which is why I watch him every week. ...Or now every other week since they changed his times. Stupid.

IMO i think Stewart reported the news exponentially better than Colbert did, but Oliver learned and picked up a lot from Jon.

That being said Jon Stewart had the most well put together show out of the three. He did a great job focusing on current events rather than doing what Oliver does by finding an interesting and relevant topic and does a report on it.

i enjoy both but stew always has my heart in satirical and sometimes more informative news.

All "news"...video or paper... exist to make money for the owners and to propagate a policy angle supportive of the owners ideas. In this context it is almost impossible for accurate, truthful reports to exist, hence genuine journalism is rare. The last genuine journalist was Michael Hastings but the jews got him

I know jews own the tv but The Slap is such an original miniseries

Yup, I was very disappointed in vice.

After Shane Smith of Vice News interviewed Obama with nothing but softball questions that were vetted beforehand I said enough is enough. Vice News is propaganda for hipsters. It started off well but after Murdoch bought in it became increasingly pro-establishment.
