What most of the statistic ignores and vegans who use this point in general is that many of the emissions don't come from the cow itself but rather large mass produced scale farming. If everyone stopped eating meat and shifted to a plant based diet the emissions would still be there because of the large amounts of demand.
Also considering that this just got uploaded to netflix the new thing for vegans to do is say "well do you care about the environment"? when trying to convince someone to go to a plant based diet. To them I say, just look at the works of Allan Savory. Which all comes back to my point that it's not farming of cows that are causing these emissions, it's the mass production. And you apply that to any farm product and you will see a rise in CO2 emissions.

I've never met a vegan/vegetarian/whatever that wasn't completely obnoxious about their beliefs. I don't tell my buddies "I'm a carnivore" when I eat a burger, but vegans are always talking about how they are vegans.

Real men stand up for what is right, Even if the truth is hard to accept.

How is that any different to someone posting on facebook about how you should vote for x candidate over y candidate? And you may not feel the need to tell people you're a carnivore, but many people feel the need to ridicule vegans. The majority of that thread is just people being cunts because "omg veganism", If you're so worried about your masculinity that you need to reassure that you're super masculine by eating meat then you're a bitch to begin with. It's so true. I don't even like meat but I eat it regularly because I need to assure myself and my friends that I'm masculine. Sometimes I post a picture on instagram of a burger from another table when really I'm eating a salad.

Youre forgetting about the biomass food chain. It takes ten times the amount of grass to make a burger that will fill your belly than to just eat the grass or corn yourself that will fill your belly the same as a burger.
point is eating vegetables is literally ten times less stressful on the land than eating meat.

Exactly. Pretty much every vegan I know shares videos from factory farms. Factory farms are fucked up. If you can watch a video from a factory farm then still wish to support them then you are a very sad human being. But as far as free range farms go, eating meat from then is fine. It's humane, it's respectful and it's a lot healthier for you than hormone pumped factory farming.
