ok the other day i was ride up the lift listenin to my music and this old guy sitting next to me asked me how i liked my lines (mavericks) i told him there great anyhow i look down at his skis and hes got the brand new Chronics 177cm just what i wanted for xmas (and i didnt get) i was thinking what the hell is this guy doing whereing those twins and he cant ski worth shit i was just wondering what you guys thought about old people wherein twins

hey what wrong with old guys havin twins, I got me a pair and I ski in the parks and do some pipe also. newschoolers can be old too. BTW I'm proably older than your parents and bet you I'm a better skier than you kid. So don't judge people till you've skied with them.

Twins are getting popular now, which is good because it gives us more money which equals out to higher quality skis with lower prices. Though it might create more posers... oh well at least they are having fun with them. Old saggy grey balls steeze.

yea we have put my dad on our twins before, hes 54 i think its funny, he gets all into it like joking around that hes going to go do tricks and stuff. i like seeing the old guys on twins its sweet! its kinda like seeing a lil kid on twins you can't help loving it

its good and bad. its good we are getting exceptance from the mainstream. its good people are spending money and helping our sport. its bad snow boarders will look at twins and say old people ride those. its really bad when old people have the pair of twins you wanted and couldnt get but they have them and ski groomers and the other end of their skis never see any action.

there was this 60 year old texan riding up the lift with me with AR5's!!, i thought cool, but later i saw her and i saw her snowplowing down a greenrun. i guess she was having fun, but even though there is nothing wrong with it, i feel a pit in my stomach watching those turns as i turn to dust and wilt away, along with my america of old.

oohhoo i didn't get my Chronics for xmas...boo fucking hoo, step off it kid. old dudes who rip are the best. theres like 3 old guys at my little hill with twins and its awesome to see. sure they don't throw corks or anything but twin tips aren't just for landing switch. some twin tips are also incredible all mountain skis and work well for their skiing style, you have no idea what you're talking about!

A lot of the non progressive riders you see on twins are on them because the person in the ski shop said they were a great ski. Now the sales person could have totally mismatched the person becasue they wanted to make the higher sale or they thought the ski, reguardless of it being a twin, would be the best model for them. Just because they are riding twins does not make them a poser.
