Best pants that don't rip

Just looking for a good pair of pants that are durable

Flylow are bomber. I normally destroy pants but mine I've put over 200 days on a pair of their Magnum BCs and aside from a couple nicks they're in amazing shape still.

They're not the steeziest pants in the world but they will probably last you forever.

One of the reviews has this to say about them:

"I had a tyre blowout in the middle of nowhere and hit the road in these things at 90kmh. My jacket ripped, my collarbone broke and my Dreadnoughts just looked slightly cleaner. Seriously, I think they liked it."

Besides that, pretty much every patroller in this part of the world seems to wear them. I'm guessing just in case some dynamite goes off in their pocket.

I'll throw another hat in that ring, I've experienced extremely good durability with Trew. Might be pricey if you're talking a pant for park though.

OR & Marmot if you're less concerned with being trendy, they both have some beefy snow work-pants too

Carhartt flannel lined, doesn't breathe, but warm, cheaper & durable AF... lots of people ski in them.

they're $399 NZD = ~250.00 USD for pants with a lifetime warranty and tested 1000+ days and still going hard... I think that's amazing dollar value on that product. you'd probably go through 2-3 pairs of any other brand.

"Mad Expensive" is relative... if you want something that is top-of-the-line durable and waterproof (msrp - $400 -$600), you're spending around $150 - $200(for a new pair) if you're good at finding deals... less if you're getting used pants. but you can spend thousands on ski pants of you want...


these ugly ass pants are $1200 msrp. My point is, ski gear is really subjective. lmk if you want some help finding gear, I'm really good at it.

They're $339NZD at the moment on sale, with the weakness of our dollar against the USD that's ~$219, throw in some shipping and they're still an awesome deal in my opinion.
