Am I insane?

so I was looking at some land the other day and thought that i could totally cut down a 75 foot wide and 300 foot long trail and fill it with rails and jumps and use a rope tow ore something to get up afterwards.

Yeah except it's doesn't snow a lot in that part of the state. You need to go to garret county

my businesses idea for that would be only that that is a place where ppl can drop in and ski some park after work and no have to go all the way to pa. I do know mountains in pa that are 2 hours from dc that have 1,600 vert while western md and wv is 3 hours away and generally less vert.

that would be pretty sick and if there are a lot of skiers in your community then it could make a lot of money. if not just put a couple rails down and ski with the homies.

Well, DC doesn't hold that crowd. Any its not cold enough there to sustain snow, or snowmaking. And which 1600 ft mountains would you be referring to in pa that are close to DC?

The answer to this is meadowlands in NJ

Nah I was referring to Tuscarora mountain in pa its literally just like 25 mins north of whitetail. also more interesting the last at the base is or sale. and no the hill is 2,400 feet high it just has a 1,600 vert.

the map dose not take into account however differences of snowfall attributed to altitude. its not the best pic but at the top we had 10 inches of snow and none at the base (keep in mind that this is late march) i also wood like to say that the top is always at least 10 degrees cooler and the summit gets 80 inches of snow a year.
