Cats.Go to a bootfitter, get your boots headmoulded and tell the bootfitter about that issue, he can put an adhesive foam pad on your toe duruing head moulding which will make the boot shell expand more in that area. I know they do this at Deep Powder House at Alta, not sure how common it is at other bootfitters.
ski-bolaWhat kind of boots do you ride?
cdipI've had booters, b&e, drop kick, and they all did this.
SEABURNFT may not be the boot for you. try another company, maybe you'll have better results.
maybe it's your toe? ingrown nail or something? or you could just be backseat all day, erry day. that'll ruin your toes too.
cdipIt's not back seat. Im gonna try the new full tilts wide maybe more room for my toe. I trim them and shit but they hurt. I have a nail that like grows normally but grows off the the side under my skin and it ducking hurts
CashmereCatI think SPKs were known for being super wide, maybe try to find a pair of those?
Volvo242just go to a boot fitter. It helps much more than buying new full tilts.
cdipI go to a boot fitter lol
Volvo242You just said you are going to try new full tilts, that doesnt mean that you go to a boot fitter. Boot fitter tells you what boot fits to your foot. you should buy them instead of buying new full tilts.
cdipI went to boot fitter and they recommended wide full tilts.....

tomPietrowskiIn most cases it's actually not the boot it's the surport in the boot. What type of footbeds did you buy?
the footbeds works to stabilize your arch and helps keep your foot in neutral. This helps keeps your toes away from the front and also helps stop your foot sliding forward when you land backseat.
They really are probably the most important aspect and it's very very likely you will have toe issues in boots in the correct size without them.
so that is where I would start. Once the foot is stable you can have the shell adapted if needed to give more space. Some may suggest stretching the shell first but often this does nothing as creating extra space can just mean more movment.
You need to secure the foot first then fit the boot around.
.Hugo.Quit riding and landing backseat
cdipAfter a long break of no skiing (a few months) we went to coc and I didn't land back seat once and it still happened.
