get premiere and use the adobe CC suite, as far as I'm concerned it's the best out right now

I used powerdirector for about 2 years on a pretty shitty laptop and it worked well. I would recommend if going with powerdirector, get the color grading program that is made also by cyberlink considering that powerdirector has very limited color grading features
