Trying to prepare for the coming winter, I'm living in Minneapolis and will be hitting hella street all season long. I'm trying to think of shit I need to buy or make sure out have when I'm out stackin clipz. Or eating shit. Soooo What's in yer kit?

can never have too much water when it's cold and brink salt when it's warm.

Don't have one? Your in luck I do and I just moved from CO to Minneapolis...sucks I know, but I gotta make the best of it.

Also Lights. No point in bringing a camera to shoot some footage only to have it look like shit.

We would recommend you a winch or bungee, shovels, steadycam, camera, water, salt, wax and some good vibes and beats.

A determined patient crew, most of the time it will take awhile to get your trick so you need people that wont mind helping you out for awhile (and vice versa when theyre hitting the feature) A banshee bungee or a real good drop in. Lots and lots of water, better to have too much than not enough. Obviously shovels, lights are nice if possible, even a mini generator to have the lights on as a guarantee. I've been in a lot of situations where Ive used my car headlights but this isnt too ideal. Cameras if you want to film. I recommend a helmet. And try to use older gear if possible because urban can merk your skis.

Obviously shovels and plenty of them. That said I've definitely been a few places where the shovels didn't show up or we didn't have enough. Should be the first thing people think of, but many times it's the last.

A pizza. Just leave one or a few in the car. Eat food as you sesh. You'll probably be hungry, or maybe I'm just fat.

Some lights are never a bad idea, especially if you're trying to film. That said, you can make do with some strategically placed cars.

Def salt and water as mentioned above. Better yet a propane torch if it's really powdery. Depends on the conditions. If it's slushing out, salt will freeze up your inrun and lip nice and proper so you don't lose your snow and stay fast, great for spring and summer.

Good thing to have is a file. Sometimes the perfect rail you just happen to walk in on will have a bumb that ski edge wont file away. (Also good if you tear your edge a lil on your beat up urban skis, file down and good to go)

A thermos of hot drink if its cold is always nice

If you have space in your car bring some wooden pallets. For making a quick drop in or even lip it can help tons

I guess the best thing overall is a big shovel (dunno the name but the one with a "rectangle" handle, you know for moving lots of snow.) Take a smaller one for packing too though
