Ricedude they are a sweet ski. Not actually too soft but still stable. I ski Thredbo on them and they are so much fun.
I got a faulty pair however, as the edge and base started to delam from the base. Warranty was really good though.
I 'm pretty much the same weight and height and ride the 171's as my park/all mtn ski. Can't really go wrong with them.
Since you're just starting durability shouldn't be too much of a problem... I would recommend getting your skis from an actual store as they can contact Line a lot faster if there are issue, and it is more reliable if a shop does instead of you.
GormanNoahSkiI would recommend the Line - Chronics, Blends. I would also have to say that the Icelantic - Da'Nollie is really fun and playful.
I've been riding the Line Blends for 2 seasons now and they have worked as an awesome "1 ski quiver". I ride them at 164 (i'm 6ft tall and 145ish pounds) and they work great in the park and all over the mountain. They work great on jumps of all sizes, but they aren't the best at sending larger jumps though, they are soft enough where you won't take a beating when you land but are still stiff enough where you can still send it and be okay. They are a little stiff but you can nose butter pretty easily with them.
The Da'Nollie is fun I was able to test the 2016 model at A-Basin and it worked great. It was stable at high speeds and was great in the park. Didn't get to try it on any large jumps but it held up great on small & medium size jumps.
The Line Chronic is also really fun & playful, but they aren;t as wide as what you seem to be looking for (they are 92 at the waist). I have skied them and they are soft but stable at high speeds. They are great at all sizes of jumps, and they are super light.
ScottyyDo you have any recommendations for bindings as well? thanks for the help :)
