I don't think I have seen a lady ski alone without headphones plugged in for about 10 years meeting someone female under the age of 50 the chair lift doesn't happen anymore. And groups of girls ride up alone together.


Cougars can be picked up on chair lifts but if they are hot they probably have their headphones in too most ladies who chat with you on the lift are not that hot and have like 5 kids running around the lodge being watched by their husband.


Girls ski alone all the time, you either unlucky or not shredding as hard as them :)

Didnt say they didn't just said these days in age they rock headphones 10/10 times. I don't bother people listening to music on the lift unless its important.

I rarely ski with music I have to be on a crappy little hill to do so I prefer serenity and silence I'll blast tunes in the car.

It frustrates me when you're skiing with friends and you try to have a conversation on the lift but they're listening to music. Like wheres the fun in that? It's fucking lame. listen when your riding not when your on the lift near people. Like at least be a little social.

Yeah truu. I get that and that makes perfect sense. My post was directed towards people like Joneille cause she always leaves both in. Then I try to tell her something, she doesn't hear me, and then gets mad at me for not telling her... Fucking Joneille.

Buy headphones with a remote on the wire. Pause when you get on the lift, play when you get off

I just pull the plug out halfway and it kills the sound to one headphone. Then when I'm at the top of the lift I push it all the way in.

I wouldn't do this myself, but:

1) Get lifties to SMS you up when he finds a smokin' hot babe 4 u.
2) Have a watch-point on the mountain so you can respond rapidly to SMSes.
3) Spot her on the chair and be waiting at the top of the lift.
4) If she starts waiting at the top as well, pull out a map and ask for directions, but you must also be ready with a spontaneous pickup line.
5) If she skis off without waiting, work out what run she is skiing and approach her at the bottom, with the map/pickup line approach at the bottom.
6) Don't blow it, don't do it if you feel to nervous and don't stalk.
7) Try to setup an apres-ski drink point, make it casual, and invite her, and also invite the lifty that helped you, or give that person something they want.

OR

for 5) be waiting with the lifty at the bottom, and get on the same chair as her.
