So I really enjoy messing around and making music on garageband, but I feel like it's kinda limiting. Does anyone on here have Logic and if so could you say whether or not you enjoy it? Or are there any other good music producing programs for Macs?
I use logic for most of my production needs and it's, in my opinion, the best for the price. Especially with the new alchemy synth. Worth the 200 no doubt.
Logic has the most pleasing GUI of any DAW I've used. If I didn't love Reaper so much I'd probably use Logic.
Also keep in mind that all the big DAWs are more or less equally capable at this point. The choice comes down to which DAW's idiosyncrasies are compatible with your creative process.
I think right now the most highly regarded DAWs are Pro Tools, Ableton, Logic, and Reaper.
