Craziest thing to happen in you're park

From sick landed tricks, to wipe outs, even to bears walking through the park let us know the craziest shit that's happened at your local park that you have witnessed.

Mine would be when a family of 10 Indians came to the rail garden toe rope park and thought because it had a toe rope it would be easy and good place for there little kids who could ski to learn... long story short they didnt leave and the kids kept crashing into rails and people and getting really hurt and the dad kept making the kids get back up... I mean making them like he would pick them up and just throw them down the hill.
There was a mini quarter pipe and a kid skied out under it...It just so happens at the same time my friend TJ was doing a side flip and he was about to hit the kid at the bottem but in mid air somehow changed his momentum and landed it but landed higher up in the quarter pipe. I then told the Indian dad his son almost got seriously hurt and he should leave...he didnt leave for like 20 minutes and I think one of his kids got a concision from slamming into a rail going super fast out of control. Poor kids...also a snowboarder crashed into a kid and the dad tried to fight him...haha

Another funny crazy thing was when we were filming a filler segment with my friends and a mouse crawled on my ski and I started freaking the fuck out and kicked it up....it got a ton of air did a backflip and hit my friend in the helmet...we didn't get it on camera :(/Claim/ But as true as a lip blind 2

one time i landed on a father while his son was standing next to him on the landing of a jump. he was taking wide turns through the park getting in the way of everything he could completely oblivious and i didn't know he was on the landing until i was in the air

My brother and I were on eagle lift at pcmr on Jan 10th when Sarah Burke had her accident. We had no idea who was down there when we looked, but I can say I'll never forget that day now. Like a lot of people I wish it had never happened.. RIP

2 years ago oakley was having an end of season jump shoot at my local hill with Seb Toutant and Charles Reid. charles ended up throwing a triple on the last jump which at the time I believe was only 35-40 feet

This gaper that had rental skis on tried to 360 off a 45 footer but over rotated and ended up landing a 540 cleanly and when he was like celebrating he was still switch and slammed into a fun box

The Orage Masters in Sun Valley. Seeing everyone from NS and all the edits just throwing down (really drunk) was super awesome to see. LJ's triple backflip to Ross Imburgas weird backflips off skis and that triangle box thing was wild.

Warnick was puking a throwing burgers at everyone as he was Ronald McDonald. RIP.

Ive actually heard that the native american culture basically forces its people to never show fear, therefore that may be a way of toughening his kids up to never show that they're scared. Its like with building sky scrapers, they used natives because they believed they weren't scared of heights, when in fact they were terrified but they're culture taught them that they weren't supposed to show fear. just a thought, but who knows he may actually be that dumb

craziest good thing i saw was some dude stomping the hell out of a king flip screaming semen on a 8m table (he took it so deep)
craziest bad thing I witnessed was some gaper girl (like in her 20s) who took the second biggest jump of the park (the kicker doesn't look too impressive but you need hella speed for a around 12m table) she knuckle in the middle of the table after taking some pretty nice air and double ejected to front flip. Landed on her ass in the landing, and the skis just stayed exactly where she landed first. Twas actually pretty beautiful xD went to help her out and get her skis and she wasn't too hurt, although it looked like she was just so ashamed she was hiding it xD wish I got a vid somehow

Saw a snowboarder do a double off a 40 foot jump at mount jore two or three seasons back. Craziest shit I've ever seen in mount jore's park...ever.

Saw a guy do a rodeo 5 at coffee mill one day. That doesn't sound exciting but it's the best trick I've ever seen at my hill.
Also this beginner went up a spot into the woods in the terrain park and he got knocked out. They had to call the ambulance but he was ok.

we were at carinthia and we saw like 5 people get taken down by sled in like 1 hour from falling on the 40ft on nitro, literally every time we would go back up the lift someone els was on the ground with patrol

I remember this kid at my local park thought he could straight drive onto a down box. Came into the box with some serious speed, his the box and double ejected and front flipped over the box and landed on his head. hahaha what a fucking gaper

This spring I was skiing in black park and I was waiting for some homies to catch up after the very first jump and someone yardsaled and as they were getting their stuff at least 5 other people hit the jumped with no space in between them, so pretty much 5 guys came off the jump and the all freaked out in mid air they all collided in the landing, it was a total shit show but thankfully no one was hurt

think I was there the same day haha, saw someone try to straight air that jump but was backseat and landed on their head, saw a guy break his jaw on the barn wall ride, and saw a gaper knuckle the 40ft really bad, this was all in one day

One time a gaper Mom and son thought it'd be a good idea to test out some of the park features and the mother tried to ride on to a DFD box that was setup street style and she cruised right into the front of it, double ejected and smashed wicked hard. The first thing she does after eating shit was to stand up and yell back to her son "JIMMY, IT'S NOT A RIDE ON". Probably one of the funniest moments ever. Also, there was a time where my friend was trying hand drag cork 3s and a little girl was standing right on the knuckle to the landing with her race coach and we couldn't see her, mid cork the base of my friend's ski just absolutely blasted this girl, like her body compressed and she was drop kicked fucking far. Race coach ended up getting mad at us despite the fact that it was her idea to ride through the park and stop on the knuckle.

This happened just outside of the park, but I think pretty notable. I was on the chairlift and was watching a kid rip down the mountain jumping knuckles and whatnot, but then he jumped this one and couldnt see the little kid underneath and he absolutely destroys the kid. I mean like huge yard sale, the little kid probably slides like 50ft and the bigger kid probably like 100ft, this kid was going fast. The second it happens the mom makes this sound of sheer terror, was probably the kids name. The bigger kid got up asked if they were okay and whatnot, I'm pretty sure the little kid was badly injured because they had to call patrol and get this patrol cat to come and get them. I felt bad for the big kid cause I was doing the same thing and luckily didn't hit anyone, and also he had to sit with the family for probably like an hour before patrol came. That was scary to watch

Its somewhere in his edit but at our big air one year the jump was really damn big for our mountain, back when our park was pretty good and a kid went for a double front flip, off the lip lost a ski, did 1 and a half flips to his back on the knuckle and flew down the landing while the other ski shot 20 feet in the air off the knuckle.

Also 2 seasons ago a mother was with her daughter on the lift and at a fairly high point probably 20-30 feet off the ground the daughter fell down and the mother instinctively followed her and fell, I think the mother got it worse than the child and fortunately the mountain had started blowing snow on the certain trail a few days earlier and if there wasnt snow they wouldve fallen on a ton of big rocks.

This wasn't at my home mountain but we were in bear a couple seasons bad for War of rails. We were shredding the park on one of the warm up days. My buddy Brian washed out after a flat rail that had a long landing after it. He was picking up his poles from about 50ft after the lip onto the rail…. Out of the corner of my eye this out of control LA gaper hits the lip and nails Brian in the back ejecting him out of his skis. He did a full front flip landed on his ass and rolled over in agony. I literally thought I just saw him die. The other girl flew another 50ft in a tomahawk and just laid there the same. a few seconds later Brian gets up completely fine. I go to get his skis and they were sitting right in the snow where he had ejected, his dins were set at 16….. We turn our attention to the girl, who we found out shattered one of her legs and one of her arms. Brian skied away!!!!! Thats one of many stories I have about the Iron Brian Kish!!!!!

A kid jumped off the lift because he thought he was going to miss his bus home. Broke both of his ankles and at least one leg I think. Missed his bus anyway.

No joke saw a 50 year old Asian man hit the biggest jump at my home mountain, he clearly wasn't ready, did 2/3 of a backflip, and landed on his upper back about halfway across the deck. Me and my friends skied down to him just to hear a lot of moaning as he gathered all of his equipment that was spewed across the deck.

One time I took my seven kids skiing at our local rail garden. Several other kids at the park were very rude and told us to leave even though everyone was having a great time. One of my kids even managed to ski under another kid as he did an aerial stunt on the skate ramp HA! That has to be the craziest thing I've ever seen at my local park.

Me and my friends were hiking this box near the job trying some tricks when this snowboarder came through and did a backflip! off the jump. It was the craziest thing I ever saw. Out mountain is pretty small so we don't have the xgames or anything like that you know.

During gaper day some snowboarders were sitting under the lip of the jump on the roller not moving so me and 2 friends all went down and tried to tail tap their heads and got like a solid 66.66% completetion rate.

we have a gaper magnet at one of the hi near me. its basicly a tunnel that has a 10 foot jump that goose over it so basically the tunnel goes through the jump and not in the landing. i saw a heard of gapers ski in and only 4 came out (they instantly fell because there is a small jump or rather a bump) next time i came down i walked over and saw the kids building a fucking snow man with one kid holding guard so no one goes in. as a bonus 2 kids had a pretty shity accident where one skids ski went into the hole between the other kids ski/binding. so i guess they where building the snowman while the other kids got their problem sorted out.

there is a steep hill next to the park where little kids like to go and slide down on their butts cuz their parents are to negligent/cheap to go snow tubbing but any way normally the kids stop at the end of the hill but this one fat kid took a sled and literally flew into the outdoor snack deck (its a good 20 feet from that hill and he somehow got there) he literally landed on some Chinese family table and walked away casually.

Saw a kid fall a good 50 feet off the chairlift, shit was scary he landed and just started twitching then completely motionless. Everyone thought he died(ended up only breaking a couple bones) about an hour after they re opened the lift, someone hit a jump and broke their leg, did not see it happen but I saw the patrol taking him down. One of the last runs on that same day, saw a snowboarder riding no helmet, tries to hit a c rail, washes out and completely smokes his head on the rail. Blood everywhere, he was all good tho. Not the best day for my home mountain

Down in Perisher, seshing the small jump line in the rain. snowboarder falls on the last jump, drop before he falls. Approach third jump, no Xs so we good. Lace cork 5 look behind me, immediately backwards tomahawk, skis punch through dudes helmet chillin in the landing. Dude is concussed as fuck with hole in his helmet.
