I was there saturday, there was around 2 feet of fresh, but it was all windblown. We left cause we had to get back to school, But it's cancelled today because of mudslides. I wish we had stayed.

in indiana here (near cincinnati) the Ohio River is expected to crest tomorrow... which means a ginormous flood. its been raining for the past 10 days.... so our ski area is closed pretty much until this weekend when it gets colder.

Yeah, i'm also from PA but i check Mammoth's site multiple times daily.. (dont ask!)

Anyways, tehy got roughly 96 inches last weekend and are up to 65 inches so far from this weekend. Totally insane. It's close to 14-15 feet in the last two weeks.

most western resort have to dig out lifts, they also have lifts that raise so they can adjust as the snow builds.

The only reason it looks like 2 feet is because if you dont clear the 14 feet of snow off your house the roof would cave in.
