High school causes so much sleep deprivation anyway, I don't blame OP for dozing off. It should be encouraged to rest up in between classes. daxtonChill man, I'm perfectly accustomed to difficult schools, but I still don't think slapping a student anywhere should be considered fine. Studies have shown that physical punishment is the least effective form. I may sound naive right now, but I'm thinking about it from a logical perspective.

daxtonI'm not trying to sound edgy. All I'm, saying is, that teacher had no right to slap op for doing nothing wrong in the eyes of the school itself. And I don't know about you, but I don't naturally wake up at 6am. Adolescent bodies don't work that way. Not my fault.

brotohere, i can spell it out for you. both stem from feelings of inadequacy. it's how they deal with them that sets the two apart. people with a superiority complex feel inadequate, so they put others down and hope to make themselves feel above them. people with an inferiority complex also have feelings of inadequacy, but they bow down to others and avoid conflict to try to feel better about themselves.
your teacher does not fall into the latter category.

Prototype_1Today I was sleeping in the library, when I didn't have a period scheduled. Anyway this teacher came in and slapped me, and told me I couldn't sleep in there. I looked in the handbook (first day of school today so they gave us one, that's why I was carrying it around) and nowhere does it say sleeping is prohibited in the library. I have been snoozing in the library since I was a freshman. And literally no one bothered me about it except for this young guy.
