Exception of one guy who lets me drive his whenever I wish. But he hardly drives the thing himself. GTR is the new E30. No matter what you say to a GTR owner (or those who wish to own), the GTR is the best car cause best.
But really the car is a lot of fun to drive. However, if I was spending $100K on a car it would not be a GTR. And don't give me the buy one used for 50 blah blah. The clutch will have already blown up into a billion Japanese pieces. Just the nature of the vehicle.

2 guys that work at Granite State Dyno have black r35s. One of them Ive talked to and hes cool but the other guy is a dick, he showed up to the local target meet that an old guy hosts and everyone crowded around him since it was clearly built and he just walked away immediately laughing at the people, plus I saw him a week ago and he took the spoiler off and it looks like its starting to be stanced...
Though call. Personally I have always loved the AMG Mercedes series. C63 AMG if I need a daily driver. For an enjoyable car Alfa 4c. Just cause look at the thing. If a fast sports coupe is needed then likely a 911. Just throwing stuff down here.

However, her only talent is being beautiful so she doesn't think she needs to learn how to bang since being beautiful is enough for it all.

What about the older generations of the GTR? You can import them for under 11 grand.

I could buy a new stingray z06 for like 70 or 80k, then if I felt like saying my car costs as much as a 911 turbo then I could add 70k worth of upgrades to the corvette.

My best friend owns a gtr. He bought it used with 14k miles on it. For low 50's. It has full bolt ons, and absolutely screams.
He has had very little go wrong with the car, and he beats on it, now has almost 40k on it.
What appeals to me about the gt-r is that it only has a 6 cylinder engine, yet it's a fucking rocket. They are also fairly easy cars to mod, and if done right they can be absolute monsters.
gtr's are amazing, bottom line. the joke about them being an attractive girl isn't relevant because they're capable as all fucking hell.
Although I don't even like r35's, they look stupid and they're too much of a supercar for anyone in my age bracket to bang on yet. I would have way more fun in a gts-t r32 or r31 of any sort anyways, because I can actually work on something that doesn't encase everything in plastic.

for around 100k im pretty sure the gtr is the car i would buy. Theres not a whole lot of super cars (idk if you can call it a super car but whatever) that are as capable/practical as a gtr. but if i wanted more power for less money id go hellcat all day 707 hp is just next level

I just don't like it, it's tacky, lacks finesse and there is a very wide array of cars that I would buy before even considering a gtr
For the price there are options but I think differently, I think it's gorgeous and most people I know with them appreciate the love they get. If I had $150k to spend on a car I wouldn't spend it all on one car. I'm not the typical fanboy of gtrs but they're pretty damn good but you're right, there are better options for the price
Sick car, but I really have a hard time getting attached to a car that isn't a true manual. F430 and GT-R are sick cars, but at the end of the day I'd almost say the Porsche 911 has been my favorite even though it's nothing super special to write home about. The manual transmission in it really makes you feel at home and want to drive it as a daily driver.
Guess it's because I don't know anybody who OWNS a GT-R besides the rental place, but I would think it would tend to be the least asshole/douche car. I really like that it's really an unknown/sleeper car to most of the population (just another Nissan), but those who know anything about it shit their pants. Douchy is someone who drives Audi or something with more brand recognition, but that's just my opionion.
Actually, I was at whole foods in Frisco and there was an old couple driving his/her black Ferraris through the parking lot. I couldn't help but think about how douchy it was because for just commuting around town like they were, it's the absolute worst car and is very uncomfortable shifting gears in low speed when you're not out on the road at high speed just getting it
and for the record, I'm not hating on Audi too much. I know it would be a popular car on here and go have one if you want. I just hear people talk about how douchy BMW owners are or Subaru drivers are in the winter, but in Colorado it has been hands down Audis who I've seen do the most wreckless and dickish shit for the most part (except or the BMW SUV that passed an oil tanker on a blind corner on Loveland Pass...). Just seems like people who buy Audis think they just bought a VIP ticket on I70

Well all paddle shift cars dont require you to shift all the time, they all have automatic modes which is kinda the point of them, have fun on an open road and be able to drive in tight places.

I have a friend who actually owns that car and I think he stage 3'd or 5'd it, ( I really don't know that much about car mods so I don't really remember) he says it has somewhere around 1,000 horsepower. And after I sat in it with him I actually believe it, it's the fastest thing I've ever sat in. Only issue is you can't drive his car in first gear. I love this car, and even though I don't race I would totally buy a stock one
