Absolutely insane. The skiing is next level, the spots are masssive and the movie is simply stunning, good vibes written all over it. The ending with Paul Mandell left me speechless, way to close the deal and give back to your fan. This one's a no-brainer, I couldn't be anymore happier with my purchase. Big ups to anyone who helped to make this happen!

Might be jumping the gun a bit but I think this might be the best movie in this genre this year. Absolutely insane crew and shots. Also don't forgot this was the second half of the season. If they put together all the bangers from One and Two, watch out.

Karl's cork 7 truck was massive, John Ware fucking killed it, skiing was next-level, and everyone stayed shit was tight, feel like stunt should have had some more shots though, and the ender/credits part was fire

Absoluetly mind blowing. Delorme killed it (as per usual) and re-cemented himself as my favorite skier.

One a more personal note, A bunch of the shots (John Ware quad-kink and Niklas in the credits) were from my college. I cant believe you guys were there and hit a rail literally 50 feet away from where I slept everynight for two years. I thought that was the perfect rail forever. and almost had a heart attack when I recognized it.

Props x10000, cant wait to see what you come up with next

movie exceeded expectations. also i was just in boston a couple months ago and my hotel was right by the zakim bridge. when we were walking around we went down the staircase by the bridge that's one of the first shots in the movie and i thought about how fucked it would be to hit the sketchy, zigzaggy handrail. little did i know none other than the good company had seshed it 6 months prior.

I'd honestly love to see this turned into a full length film this coming year. Just watched it and this was probably the best ski film I've seen since Refresh, which is #1 in my list of ski movies.

You guys absolutely crushed this thing out of the park. The music, filming, vibe and skiing was absolutely off the chain. Hyped to see what you guys pull off next year.

Agreed, with half a season it's pretty sick to see what they were able to come up with.
Now they gotta do a full season and then we could be talking about the best ski movie in this genre (ski porn genre). I really like Colin Collins' shot, sick style.

Im logging in for the first time in months just to say how dope Colin Collins switch 3 in the backcountry was.

The rest was unreal as well but that was the standout for me.

Dale Ts wallride down that graffitied rock was fucking nuts as was wallischs opening cork 7.

Also loved how they really interacted with the public. Most urban films involve shots of the police/residents kicking the skiers out so it was awesome to see that stuff with Paul mandell

Tom, it'd be dope to see you, karl, ad, dale, whoever really do something like banks did at sun valley, or cody, banks, and sander did in the msp movie. The trend of filming resort skiing I think is really dope. Would like to see you guys mob natural features in less than perfect conditions.

I know urban is a strength and I dig it, but I'd like to see more bc jibbing like brower's rock "wallride", tree jibs, glacier/ice fall jibs, cornice hand drag hits, etc. Basically taking the urban mindset and applying to the mountain.

Also, I liked the parkshoot footage a lot. Last five years parkshoots besides superunknown and wcs are like a no no in the industry, but fuck that. Would love to see a true park shoot return to form at keystone or something with big, fast, creative features. You got the squad of skiers to make it happen and make it unique.
I don't know. ....the content you're putting out is hype as fuck, just keep it up.

I would like one complete film project though, rider segments not necessary per se, but I think the feature length format just seems "bigger". Maybe go with the old nimbus model of releasing monthly content ( more behind the scenes, crashes, and tricks that don't make the year end project) but save the heaters for the film.

Music wasn't my favorite this time out, but that's pretty subjective. All in all, amazing project and stoked for more.

Really like the idea. Would love to film some more resort mobbing. Might be a great idea for some edits or shorts throughout the year.

The long feature film with edits and monthly content along the way sounds pretty similar to the thoughts we've been having as well. Good thinking!

We tried to put out a short movie that was just "ski porn" and easy/fun to watch. We wanted it to be short and sweet and just get people hyped to ski with their friends.
We figured we'd save all the interview and behind the scenes footage for web edits.

Really glad to hear all the feedback everyone! I know Kyle, AJ, and all the athletes, myself included, love filming this shit and it really does mean a lot to hear that you enjoyed watching it!

After watching one of, if not the best, compilations of skiing of the year if the only thing you have to say is "there were too many blunt grabs", I wouldn't classify that as constructive criticism, that's just finding something to complain about. So my reply in defense of not only the film, but my friends behind it, was a fitting response to some kid whining about grabs.

first off, editing and overall feel were incredible. the urban was some of the best i've seen, and the breck and seven springs stuff was incredible. only gripe is the backcountry. this is understandable, these guys are all park riders first and it definitely shows. the bc stuff was colorado or utah right? not to hate on those spots, i have spent a bunch of time in slc and its great, but if you're gonna do a backcountry segment you have to film it in bc or ak, anything else is just subpar. the bc jumps were really small compared to what a lot of other guys are hitting. in my mind all of the standout edits this season were filmed in resorts by relative unknowns like heffy,isaac freehand,martin lentz, jonnie merril ect going absolutely massive to hard pack moguls. if these guys are going that huge in a resort i expect a lot more out of our sports best into pow.

^^^ thats sounds whiney- when i'm watching what the park/urban stuff its obvious they are the best in the game, and its incredible. all I'm saying is if they're gonna keep doing bc stuff they have to up the ante a little bit. just like when tgr did a park shoot a few years back i wished they wouldn't have.

I cant even big up one rider because every one of them absolutely killed it. Jaw dropped 95% of the time, the other 5% i spent laughing at Paul Mandell, that was great, love seeing that kind of stuff in movies.

This is definitely one of the best short movies I've seen in skiing in a long time.
Easily worth the price you pay if you consider how many times you can watch this and still enjoy it.
This is the movie I'm gonna show to anyone who wants to know what the deal with freestyle skiing is!

Just to clarify, the pow was mostly in Idaho, if I'm not mistaken, and to say that you can only use pow shots from BC or AK is a little ridiculous and limiting. I understand that wasn't the main point of your post but I just wanted to throw that out there.

I said I liked the movie. I did think the urban segments were bangers. The only thing I said was the park segments (Mostly referring to the 7 Springs segment) have a lack of variety in terms of grabs. It would have been more interesting to see a variety of grabs rather then blunt every time. In my opinion it would have made the movie better by making it more unique. The better criticism you give on this movie the better the next one will be.

ya i agree thats kind of a ridiculous statement. just saying that its the same thing as filming a segment at brecks public park vs a specially built mega feature. i'm still going to enjoy the hell out of a good rider crushing a public park, but the whole time i'm thinking that the size and scale of the terrain is limiting what the rider is capable of. same is true for bc/ak vs anywhere else, when you see people ride that stuff you know the only limiting factor to what can be done if the athletes skill, not the terrain.
didn't mean to diss on the project at all though, just my feedback. wallish is the absolute man, that stuff with howe mandell was so genuine. couldn't ask for a better dude to represent our sport. really did make the guys night, and i hope he got to see the final edit, bet it blows his mind.

Everyone needs a band aid for their asses cuz there are some butthurt babies in this thread for sure.

All in all Good Company Two was a great display of skiing by some of the greatest athletes in our sport. The cinematography was great, the skiing beyond great, and the feel was great. Music was not your typical pick for an edit or movie, but these aren't your typical skiers, I enjoyed it and thought the music fit the bill and kept the edit new and fun.

As for the butthurt square complaining about the backcountry not being good enough, it doesn't matter, these guys kill it everywhere, made a video of them skiing and having fun, and I am pretty sure that was their goal. Almost certain they weren't set out to please the one and only Ja-blow-me John from AssFace Kansas. But then again I could be wrong, I am just a man on NS. But seriously, I thought the backcountry was sick, I always like watching park skiers get out there and ski some deep, gets me hyped to ski other terrain for sure.

Everything about this project was FILTHY, and I can't stop watching it. This got me way hyped for the upcoming season and am too stoked to see what else you guys come out with. Props to you Good Company, stay golden ;)

I thought that the backcountry segment was a great breath of fresh air. I recall countless times as a kid fast forwarding bc/big mountain segments in movies because they were too repetitive.
"i expect a lot more out of our sports best into pow." I chuckled at that. The Good Company episodes are so damn good because it's a collection of dudes that are all on their own tip.
Very rarely can people show their own style in any type of skiing that is enjoyable to watch. I thought the styles of Ware (massive tree rides, cork 3's), Collin (switch 3&5, clean skiing), Tim (large tricks) and obviously Delorme (massive airs with fluidity only he has) were all apparent.
Good Company Two is one of the best captures of the modern day scene. Wallisch, you are the man for using your standpoint to not only put on all the homies, but also for moving skiing forward. Good Company is the bees kneez.
