Feiyu G3 ultra 3axis gimabl & Glidecam iglide

Anyone know anything about either of these gimbals/stablaizers for go pro? Made a thread in gear talk about these but didn't get too much. Anyone have experience with either? I don't know much about camera stuff so your input will weigh heavily on my decision

the glide cam is about $40 cheaper than what I can get the feiyu

Feiyu is about $190 I think, maybe $200 shipped, whereas the Iglide is $150 or $160 shipped

cool. thats what I was leaning toward but my friend likes the Iglide better so we are trying to work it out. Do you know anything on the battery and how long it lasts?

Whats the best mode for filming. I have heard the 3rd one (forgot the name but it doesn't move I don't think) is the best.

i have no experience with it. But it will do a lot better job then the glidecam

I have the iglide, works well, but is annoying to set up and continually fix so it is balanced, gets in balance if the gopro tilts forward or backwards at all, go with the gimbal haha

Is it really that big of a pain? Hopefully I can hear some stuff about the Feiyu

probably the only con, and ya it's a big pain, only pro of this is it doesn't have battery's so you can use it all the time.

Im not too worried about the battery, the go pro will die first. When i recharge by go pro I can recharge the batteries as well

oh, I have 2 extra gopro batteries just in case, but you pretty much answered your own question and the gimbal will be smoother and easier to use then the iglide and the battery life wouldn't be a con for you

Yah i have 2 for mine and a buddy has one for his too so we have 3 batteries. I've heard it lasts for a decent amount of time

why are you considering the iglide? it seems like the gimbal is the clear winner and better

well a friend wants the glide. I wanted the feiyu. We are trying to gather as much as possible and experiences with both products

well I would definitely go with the feiyu if you guys want smooth footage, the iglide could be balance off are you hold it wrong or bump it and it could ruin the whole shot, but this wouldn't happen with the feiyu. Definitely your decision to make, but if you are looking for really smooth professional looking footage go with the feiyu
