I think it looks great for photos like the A7r is, but for video A7S still trumps it IMO. Pic in the other thread sums it up, also I've been reading all over about crazy overheating issues

It's also really fucking expensive. For the same price or less you can get a used a7s or GH4 and the new Atomos Ninja Assassin and shoot 4K ProRes. Or for less than that you can get a blackmagic and shoot sexy 2.5K RAW.

It's for sure a photo specific camera, don't know why all the video guys even try to compare this with the a7s, of course the a7s is better for video. It's a 42mp camera FFS, it's clearly meant to take big photos. The a7s is dope af, and sick for video and astrophotography.
