Thoughts On 3rd Party Canon Lenses?

Hey guys, I'm curious to see what everyone has thought about certain 3rd party lenses for shooting video. I have a collection of L-series lenses without IS, as my styles of shooting stills don't require me to spend the extra shitload on it. Let me know what you've got and what works, and I'll take a look into it.

I got a Canon HF-G30 last year. Then I got the Canon wide angle lens that works with it. If you have a high end cam, why use a low end lens?
Glass is everything. Just my two cents.
