The Toronto District School Board plans to expropriate 17 homes in North York to build a new high school.

Personally I think it is wrong but it is still arguable for the other side as well

And ... If those people get a fair market price for their homes - then ... I dunno. Development in the city has to happen some way. I wonder about the local consultation process...

is it outdated infrastructure or just too many damn kids in one school? schools get built down here all the time because fuckers cant stop farting out kids so much, and we get 35-40 kids to a classroom built to fit maybe half that.

Doesn't help that schools are built for the present population not for what the projected population will be.
