Yes, snow or no winter starts the first weekend of October. Last year I bought and used my winter pass on October 3rd and October 3rd is only 6 weeks from today.

I'm going to go to the local hill and demand to be let up the chairlift with my season pass. IF they tell me I can't ski down, I'll tell them that this is America, ancestors fought and died to make this a free country where I could ski whether or not their was snow.

Winter is certainly coming. We are dispose to get almost three feet of snow by next Tuesday in the alpine. The freezing level is even down as low as 1750m next week. I'm sure it will all melt and summer will return but it's going to be awesome to see snow again.

Yep winter is definetly on the way. Every day at work I have people coming in and asking me if we stock ski jackets yet/when will we get them in. Already sold out of a few sizes on our winter jackets. Winter is coming bitches

Despite what they say, I have a feeling the Northwest it going to get an early winter, fall is coming pretty early here in Idaho.

Well, more north than you probably but not by much. I'm up by McCall, Brundage and Little Ski Hill are my home mountains. If you're ever coming up this way to ski hit me up.
