now i just have endless names of people who i sent messages to over 15 years ago asking if they still have their 1080's for sale. and no way to delete those messaged.
you could also click on the persons name to view their profile and threads.
now you cant do that.
so if you send someone a message, asking if they have something for sale still, and they answer your message 6 months later, its near impossible to remember wtf you were sending them a message about in the first place.
eheathWith the new system, if you are in a convo, the username at the top above the convo links to their profile and threads is still part of their profile, only in desktop mode though.
I'm having a hard time understanding the last part here, the messages are all lumped into one place so how do you not see them?

i can see all the messages that we have sent to eachother yes.
I was just saying that without being able to link to their profile it was sometimes difficult to remember what we were discussing, despite having the entire message history.
any clarification on if you can delete messages??

Mr.BishopDo you just want to clean up your inbox? The reason its there is to keep message history.
AlsoKnownAsIt would be cool if you could click on a persons profile from the inbox like you could in the past.
Or if that's something that isn't wanted I'm curious if there's a reason.
NBD, just my shitty internet thoughts. Sometimes you get a message from somebody and you want to check out their profile.
