Help with boots!

I have a pair of brand new Full Tilt B and E's I just bought. They fit good in the shop. I now just noticed that on the front of my leg where my foot bends (top of ankle area) is rubbing on the ski boot. It doesn't rub when I am leaned forward but when I walk or stand straighter it does. I was wondering if this will go away after the heel gets packed out or will I have to bring them back to the shop the mould them?

Why have you not moulded them yet, did the shop not suggest it. I'm guessing from that alone that you were not fitted for the boot so the reason for the pain could be from many things. Without seeing your foot in the shell it's really hard to advise anything so take them to a decent shop and find out what type of fit your working with.

This. Its weird that you didn't mold them. I didn't mold mine because I bought them from a shop not close enough from me but I tried them on in a closer shop and made sure they fit me ok. Usually you would mold your boot. You probably didn't get fit properly or didn't get the boot properly fitted for you

I'm too poor for moulds so I just try to put up with the sore shins

Did you buy them from a shop? If you did that type of fitting should e free. If not yes they will charge you but honestly do it. Moulding the liners makes a huge difference and while they do it tey may be able to reaposition your foot better.

I'm also too poor to buy from shops. I just buy peoples old gear

Could be anything from $20 right up to $50. You did not buy boots there so they can charge what they like, this is one of the reasons buying boots from a shop is so important.

What at I would do I take them to a shop for a for assessment And find out if they are a good Option for you. If they are ok get the shop to fit them for you. If they are not a good option sell them on and go get fitted properly.
