I'm lookin to get subs to put in a 13 wrx sedan. I would like to go with dual 10s. I was interested in kicker comp 10s or should I go with the 4 ohm coil for 10 bucks more a speaker. That and what amp is reasonable and would fit the speakers. Also a head unit. Will be willing to buy refurb. Looking to stay on the cheap side.
Also, ported or not? Thanks !!

why would you buy a refurbished head unit? you can get a nice 4x50 for under $150 at literally any best buy/car audio store.
also i'd be willing to bet that the wiring in your subbie is way over your head and you need to take it someone who actually has an idea what they're doing so you don't fuck it up.

Crutchfield has all the answers you seek.
i have a 10 inch pioneer unported running off a 1000w kenwood mono amp through a kenwood refurbed HU and it bumps.

ya Crutchfield and your local dash/audio shop should have all of your answers haha. Picked up 2x12 kenwoods with an amp two years ago, bridged them and they bumped haha. Definitely not an easy process putting them in, that's for sure haha
