Is there a Go Ski Day?

Is there such thing as go ski day? Sort of like go skate day?

I know NS has meet ups and stuff at events, but not everyone can be there. There's sooo many skiers from around the world. How sick would it be if there was one day dedicated where every skier, every NS'er got all their friends together, headed out to their hill/mountain, and skied all damn day and partied super hard during and after?



We(aka Mr.Bishop) could make it the Official NS Holiday and it would be beautiful.

Great idea. Only problem is the difference in seasons for the southern hemisphere, and northern hemisphere. So you might have to have two go ski days?

I agree it should split the state and other states there can be 2 ski days but have one at every resort. Great idea Mingg!

Summer set ups and rock/grass skiing for the northerners and pow for the southerners. It could work hahaha

What would be super sick is if we had a specific day that was like "Global NS Gathering day". So its not one specific meet up, but meet ups everywhere around the world, wherever you are. Only goal is to go shred with other NSers.

Don't really know how to organize it, but this idea has serious potential.

I mean even if it ends up that wherever you are is like 3 people, it'd still be an unreal day of skiing.

Yeahhh! For sure. Just like one day to get out with the homies. One day dedicated to skiing and partying. Not that people don't ski other days but idk. It seemed like a good idea at 3am lol

Itd be rad if there was like a newschoolers representative/ or a pro/or both in each area to organize it. If it's planned well I could see this being a fairly easy thing to organize. But then again what do I know. Just food for thought. Could be reightous

You're exactly right, I've long thought about the idea of having something like reps or ambassadors locally around the world. That person could always have a solid stash of stickers, some extra access to promote local shit, product, etc. They would be the key to organizing local meet-ups.

Never actually had the time to pull it off though. Its a super solid idea, but I always end up being way too busy to actually make it happen.

I was thinking something like go ski day, but more of a holiday commemorating lost riders, similar to memorial or veterans day.

My idea was Jan. 19th, the day Sarah passed. Not only for her, but in honor of all those the community has lost.

Oh and yeah though we haven't actually gotten our shit together and announced it, we're actually sponsoring one of the parties at IF3. So its going to be an NS gathering.

As well, we should mob the fuck deep with NSers all over the place. I can guide you through both Montreal and IF3.

Yeah the launch party is what I was thinking. We can simply get together at the theatre on friday though, we'll set a few meeting times.
