Hello NS!
I created a thread a couple weeks back trying to figure out my very first touring setup and I've narrowed it down greatly, and now i'm just looking for feedback and personal reviews between my two remaining options.
I live in CO and am about 5' 9" weighing about 150 lbs. I come from the east coast and love to ski park but am looking to add a second pair of skis to my quiver. A pair for powder days and the occasional back country/ touring days.
I am set on getting the 182 Liberty Origins but cant figure out what bindings to put on them. I would probably ride about 80%-85% resort with them and the rest would be back country. My two binding options I'm looking into are:
1. http://www.backcountryaccess.com/product/trekker/ - BCA Alpine trekkers. I would get these with some alpine bindings, not really sure which ones yet tho. PROS: overall better riding experience, lighter weight setup, being on the skis as opposed to raised ~36mm off of my skis. CONS: not as great as a touring experience.
2. http://libertyskis.com/bindings/adrenalin-a-t-binding - Adrenalin A/T binding. Im not totally set on these A/T bindings but when comparing to the marker A/T bindings I feel like theres not a big difference and I can just order them with my skis and the ability to go from touring to downhill without taking off your skis is nice. Pros and Cons are pretty much the opposite of what I put for the trekkers.
Right now I think I'm leaning towards the A/T bindings a bit more. I feel like having the A/T binding wont make that big of a difference on downhill riding as opposed to normal alpine bindings but I have no idea, like I said, this is my very first pair of powder/touring skis.
So help me decide NS! +K for any help!
