What states do you guys think are really underrated? may it be great skiing just hard to get to or epic terrain but not enough snowfall.
I'm going with West Virginia, southern pa and the Pyrenees.
Massachusetts has some pretty dope spots for park(Nashoba Valley) and just skiing in general. Also we have Ski Ward in Shrewsbury MA for summer skiing. They have a public airbag and some rails on nevaplast.

Arizona! Snowbowl has a dope park and a massive bc terrain! We have a pretty big size mtn. too. Elevation between 9000-12000ft. Considering no one talks about skiing in Az, I'd say it's underrated.

I saw some seg a while back with some dude skiing the Grand Canyon. Thats pretty dope in my books.
I would say Idaho, PA, and MN/Wisconsin. Idaho is never talked about even though they have some sick skiing like Sun Valley, PA has Seven Springs and some other pretty big places for not having big mountains, and really the Midwest as a whole. Tow ropes make the fastest laps ever and you can progress faster there than anywhere else. The vibe there as well is sick because you know everyone pretty much in your half of the state because the places are small so you get to know everyone.
Probably Eastern PA. There are some pretty sweet parks at Big Boulder and Bear Creek where the rails are on point. There's also a lot of mountains in the Poconos.

I've always thought the Ozark Mountains would be awesome for tree skiing if they got about 200 more inches of snow than they do. Otherwise the UP of Michigan has some pretty awesome hills that not many know about.
not really hard to get to or epic terrain but i was pretty blown away by the scale of the park scene in Ontario when i moved out there, lot of really good skiers and a couple really quality parks. MSLM is easily the best park ive skiied east of whistler here in canada.

Both are solid. I love Boulder, it's my second home. I ride Blue more only because I'm 15 min from it. Whenever I visit Springs though I always have a Bangor time. You'll have to let me know next time you crack a visit to Boulder this season!
Idaho definitely. Brundage, Schweitzer, Sun Valley, and kind of Targhee (in Wyoming, but you can only get to it from Idaho). Brundage has better snow than Sun Valley and probably the driest in the Northwest and Schweitzer is so cool, because it is just so cowboy and open. Whitefish in Montana is also horribly overlooked.

Bear creek in PA is always disappointing to me. Slow lifts, short rides, gaper-crowded parks keep me away. Apparently there was a management dispute before and during this past season and it was a mess all winter. Blue Mountain in PA is the best towards the eastern side for riding in general, and their park is awesome too. Long lift lines but long runs too. And you cannot beat a high-speed detachable six person chair with padded seats and feet rests. Big boulder is sweet. Can't speak for seven springs though everything I have heard is good. Can't wait to get out there this year and see for myself.
Another vote for 7springs, PA. Fun parks, nice trwe patches on some runs, groomers are usually good in the first 2 hours, and there are some fun natural hits around the mountain. If you like rails, you'll like the tow rope in Santa's Beard too. Now only if they put one in the Alley....

Sun Valley's park is always immaculate and never crowded.
Targhee gets a shitload of snow every year and isn't crowded.
Backcountry in the Sawtooth's is hard to beat.
Pebble is kinda fun to jib around.
Whitefish does look like the kitties titties though

I miss the rope tow in North park. But apparently Springs' insurance won't allow for any more rope tows being put in.

I live in minnesota and powder and park crews at most places are average at best. Once in a while i'll get out to a few places in wisconsin and i like those way more.
