Sitting here wondering what I'm doing. School will be starting soon, and I just wanna ski.


SO ANSWER THE QUESTION, what are you doing with your life? Are you an adult working a job? Are you a kid getting ready for school like me? Or do you own a monkey farm and sell monkeys for millions of dollars?

I have two more weeks of working at public works, then I head back to school, and then when Thanksgiving rolls around, it will be ski season.

Getting ready to move out of my parents house in 2 weeks into my first apartment. Which is just nuts to think about. I'm going into my second year of college studying financial analysis and marketing. I'm working full time as a marketing director for Schuss and as an ambassador for iF3. Also, fucking nuts. End of HS I was dead set on biomedical engineering, now I want to go into financial management/ actuarial science. Life is crazy.

Working weekends and my school starts on friday for some reason. Its cool tho, easy classes and itll help the time pass until ski season. Im pumped for senoir year but i could care less about school. Also trying to grow a mustache but this bull shark testosterone isnt working

Nothing to bizzare as of now, been working at a farm a few times a week 9-12. Soccer starts tonight and ends whenever out last game is, once school begins I hopefully will have an easy schedule, as far as I know the hardest class is either chemistry or financial algebra, I have a few free periods so I hope senior year is a fun time. Im just ready to ski and learn new tricks and have a damn good time. Once school ends I hopefully will have a good job in my undecided gap year and start doing scca rallycross in whatever I can get my hands on and then maybe get into a general labor type job, electrician, plumbing etc or move into something like sales or marketing and in 2-3 years I hope to have a race ready rally car and do 2-3 races a season possibly co driving for my brother or competing in the driver seat against him. Idk my life is very simple as of now.

Well recently on a shroom trip I realized I was starting to stray down the wrong path, but I'll be done working in two weeks and heading off to school for my sophomore year in college. I'm double majoring in Psychology and Dietetics and hope to research how the food we consume affects us physically and psychologically. After I finish my undergrad I'm going out to Utah for graduate school.

Growing up sucks.

Currently working my ass off at two jobs so I can pay for shit for my car. I'm pretty much working until I start my senior year of high school, so I gotta have some extra money because I won't be working between September and December.

Working on my life goal of free old guy skiing. Get a free pass when I turn 72 but I've got to be in good shape and financially independent to utilize it. In the short term this means figuring out how to eat more tomatoes and cucumbers because they are growing like crazy right now.

Gradded in the spring and got accepted to a local uni for sciences. About a week ago I decided I want to switch into engineering so I'm trying to figure out where I should go from here. I can either drop a few science courses and keep the ones that transfer over and have a lighter course load next year, or take the year off traveling. This summer I've been working 3 jobs about 50-60 hours a week and I'm about ready to kill myself haha. Winter can't come any sooner

Currently conducting an airborne time domain electromagnetic survey from a mining camp near the northern coast of BC. There's more ice around here than earth :). Come September I'll be back at school trying to finish off this fucking degree so I can start working full time and stop living like a fucking bum.

And if the election goes poorly I will begin slowly relocating my life to Anchorage AK

Working the final months of the crazy wildfire season we have had in Alberta this summer. Going to do some academic upgrading so that I can go back to school for Forestry and hopefully make Wildfire my career.

Have a beautiful solid girlfriend by my side, all my debts are paid down, got a solid vehicle and have some pretty sweet goals in looking forward to working too. Still going to ski my face off this winter, still going to travel. Just because your growing up doesn't mean you have to let go of the things you love.

I'm 21, living with my parents going into my 4th year of Microbiology at University of Michigan. I hate my life, I'm studying for my MCAT, which I hate, I can't improve my MCAT scores, regardless of what I do, I got my EMT-B license recently so that's cool. I am beyond stressed, but am losing a little bit of weight so that's cool.

All in all, everything has a silver lining and can't wait to be done with college and take a year or two off and just see the world.

"The Adult" is an american myth.

Im healing and ACL then im going to take a test and get a job helping fat lazy people (like I use to be) get into shape so they can stay out of hospitals. With the money I make helping people stay out of Hospitals Im going to travel to Thai Land for a month to train at Tiger Muay Thai. Then Im going to fight in Las Vegas at One Kick Nicks and put some poor soul in the hospital, or go there myself.

Then Im going to continue being an "adult" and save money to buy a boat or something cool like a modest house.

I don't know exactly what I want to do yet. I'm highly considering it and would really like to do it. For now I'm taking the prereq's so that I can keep my options open. I definitely want to do something finance related though!

I work in finance and would say if you want to work in finance get a major in finance along with an accounting/math/eco/compsci major. Actuarial science won't benefit you - at best you'll work risk/credit analysis with minimal exit-opps.

Two winters ago the PNW had kind of a late arrival, it snowed like 5 feet in January and then limped along until spring. I didn't get to ski much because I had just bought a house and was balls deep in moving and all the homey shit that goes along with that. So last year I was all geared up to ski a ton but unfortunately it just never showed. My first time out touring in December before the resort opened I had a really close call in an avalanche and so I didn't take advantage of the few times I could've gone because I had a bad taste in my mouth. So THIS YEAR pretty much has my sanity riding on it. No one is hungrier than me. It going to be 90 degrees out tomorrow fuck that I am ready for winter.

Dude are you doing alright? I don't know if I can relate with you or not but university seems shallow as fuck for me, I'm trying to get my life together/start healthy living to go through life and maintain me as unstressed as possible. Also I'm currently going through my 3rd year of Economics, I haven't failed a course yet so I'm doing good, but not really interested in it much.

Also looking for a country/place to visit this summer (southern hemisphere) so any suggestion would be very appreciated.

P.S. cheap places please

Dunno. Im 30 and have had a good 5 year run doing my own thing selling tickets on stubhub and betting on sports. Im dank at it if I had any sort of money behind my I'd be a millionaire but I don't so I make about the national average and probably won't ever accumulate enough to be a proper real version of me and a legit ticket broker not some dickhead with a stubhub account constantly grinding and keeping tabs on my money.

Id be more inclined to possibly change and progress in my life if I was rich in the summer and broke in the winter but its the opposite I have fatty papes when the snow drops and in the summer my income is negative due to paying for all the tickets its not bad but Im pretty weird for an adult.


BUT its hard to pass up a fat 3 weeks in Aspen or the Alps every winter (not to mention the years I post the fuck up in Reno when there is snow) if I can afford that shit every year without asking my parents for help and staying in nice hotels Im doing OK probably gonna just keep being me.
