teflon66Would something like Dalbello Boss Retros be good for park?
They're on sale for $200 at evo.com
AlexFogo85Dalbello is typically a pretty solid company when it comes to ski boots, this boot will get the job done if you're riding park but if you are throwing down inverts on big jumps and hitting larger features and even doing things like urban then I would suggest a different boot. This boot is really solid for downhill skiing and will hold up in the park, but not the greatest choice in my opinion of course.

teflon66Should I just say f*ck it and buy Full Tilts?

ANUSTARTdo you live in CO? typically CO ski and golf has pretty good deals around september? when they have their big sale. I got a pair of drop kicks for $200
As for bindings just dont get squires and youll be fine. I had a pair last year and didnt progress too much cuz i would pop out and break a brake a ton when i landed switch
teflon66I live in New Hampshire. At one of my local stores I can get drop kicks for $299. Now that I got these high end boots, what are some high quality bindings to accompany them?
ANUSTARTevo is selling sth 13s for $170. i just got a pair and everyone ive asked said that they are really good
Swandog7Please put this in gear talk next time
karlmarxboots are by far the most important part of your setup. don't cheap out, and definitely don't buy online without trying them on. don't worry about a boot being freestyle specific, just talk to a good boot fitter, get something that really fits and has the right flex profile for your body type and ability.
as for bindings, i would just keep an eye out for second hand fks bindings. they pop up relatively frequently on the sell/trade forum on here
teflon66For boots, I'm going with Full Tilts, not sure exact type though.
And for bindings, I'll look out for some fks.
ShireRatbruh, think about some different options before you just jam your feet into some 1980's race shells. fulltilts are light with killer graphics, but they arent for everyone. The best thing they have going for them is the intuition liner, but if the shell doesnt fit your gonna have either a very uncomfortable or expensive ski season ahead of you. there is absolutely nothing wrong with trying on and maybe even skiing boots that have been designed and cater to the previous 30 years of skiing.
teflon66Well of course I'm gonna try the boots on before I buy them. Full Tilts seem to be the best for freestyle, at least from what I've heard, but I'm open for other companies.
I never blindly buy things.

Chubz. It doesnt matter if the boots are "made for freestyle". If they dont fit your feet it's going to make your day on the hill a living hell. Go to a good boot fitter & get whatever boot fits your foot.
