Any Fix for Broken Tip?

I got some free skis, but there is this metal part on the tip of the skis that broke and popped out (sorry I can't really explain it better lol).
Is there any fix for this problem?
This same problem happened to two pairs of skis, but I continued to use them for some time, noticing no effect on the performance of the skis.

Are you talking about the edge? Or is it one of those metal inserts commonly found on K2s?

It's this metal that runs along the edges of the ski. The skis in question are Line.

You just have a blown edge, which is quite common. You can take it to mostly any ski shop and they will fix it. If you don't have the time to do that you can just ski on it. I skied on a broken nose edge for months, and don't even have edges anymore on the noses of my skis.

You could put p-Tex in it, or just leave. It's not going to effect your skiing, just cosmetic. It may lead to other cases of cracks and eventually edge pull outs.

When the tail of my soul riders delamed a couple years ago I just stuck a couple small rivets in it and that held it well.

Yeah same here. My Threats broke apart at the nose and I used pop rivets too. Worked well

I had some old beater skis whic did this. I just pulled the edge out, cut the part which is still attached, and then just wrapped it in duct tape to seal it back up somewhat. You could try gluing and clamping but if these are just a trashed ski for summer or somthing there is not much point.

These skis are good, and I got them for free, so if there is a way to fix them at a ski shop that'd be great.

What kind of line skis? Could you post pics?

My Line Afterbangs had an issue with the edge on the nose popping out, I tried glueing it and it would just pop again so I riveted it through the teeth of the edge, sealed it with epoxy, and it's been fine.

I'm on vacation rn and don't have any pics of the skis nor do I know their name, but they're the ones with the weird ogre-troll creatures and that say wicked on them. Sorry for the shitty explanation lol.
These skis have the same exact problem as the one you described.
