Newschoolers Fantasy Football Money League - V.4

It's time. Football is almost upon us... actually its still far away but I wanted to get started on this to make sure we get the league going again this year. This will be the 4th season we've done this, last year was probably the best one we did. We had the buy-in set at $15 with a payout of $100 for first, $35 for second and $15 for third. We can always switch this up or adjust if we raise the buy-in. The draft will either be during the last week of preseason or the week before the first regular season game. The league will be on ESPN also. I think we will cap the league at 10 teams, maybe we can go to 12 if we get tons of interest. Last year we all got on google hangout or tinychat during the draft and had a grand ole time, I say we do that again as well.

I can't remember the specific rules of the league as far as PPR and all that. Who ever has some input on that post it. If you want to make some changes to the rules, suggest them.

How to get into this league you ask? PM Steezy_P, he is the guy who you will send money to. He has collected all 4 years and paid out all for years. He will send you his paypal e-mail and once he gets paid you get an invite to the league with your e-mail.

I almost scored 200 points in my league with a last second Freeman on the bench decision where he ended up with 39 points. I was projected to lose 116-145 before Steve Smith Sr., Dalton, and AJ all went off in the fourth. Ended up with 164.

All depends on lacy at this point, I wouldnt doubt him playing tomorrow and getting 9 pts. Our fantasy page says 0 for projected but all reports have said hes going to be active. that doesnt mean he'll play or get more than 10 touches, but who knows.

I'm hoping so. Some places are telling me he's fine and going to play, others say Starks will get most of the carries. So we'll see.

Anderson was on my do not draft list. I couldnt believe people were taking him in the 1st round in all of my leagues. Especially since he did good for only half a season. Not nearly a big enough sample size to justify a first round pick. Especiakly with absolute stud wrs available

In my other league i was down 145 to 85 and i just had cobb and charles left. Ended up 145 to 140. Nearly made a huge comeback

definitely not for freeman. last week was a fluke. when coleman comes back he will still be the starter, but they will share more

Don't do it. You can get a MUCH better RB for E Sanders than those two, especially if you are in a PPR league. Shoot for someone like a Shady McCoy, Randle, F. Gore, Deion Lewis, etc.

not ppr but yeah i declined the trade. i have tevin coleman on my bench and im praying he is back this week. my team is essentially gronk, odell, and sanders. iv had to stream almost every other position lol. way to many injuries.

Short-term, yes. Long-term, who knows.

Ben is hurt. Luck can't play like garbage forever. Mike Evans doesn't have a quarterback that can throw him the ball. James Jones will likely be the #2 in GB so long as DeVante Adams can't keep himself on the field. I picked up Jones as a Free Agent and it paid off big time.

i love him. small sample size albeit but i think the hawks might give him more touches as lynch is definitely nearing the end of his career and they need a replacement. i got him on my bench, although i do think it might be a bit early to stash him. my league just isnt very deep.

Just picked up a TE on waivers, Rich Rodgers. Fun fact, I played against him in high school our senior year. he was a freak WR/SS back then. Ended up at Cal where his dad played.
