Newschoolers Fantasy Football Money League - V.4

It's time. Football is almost upon us... actually its still far away but I wanted to get started on this to make sure we get the league going again this year. This will be the 4th season we've done this, last year was probably the best one we did. We had the buy-in set at $15 with a payout of $100 for first, $35 for second and $15 for third. We can always switch this up or adjust if we raise the buy-in. The draft will either be during the last week of preseason or the week before the first regular season game. The league will be on ESPN also. I think we will cap the league at 10 teams, maybe we can go to 12 if we get tons of interest. Last year we all got on google hangout or tinychat during the draft and had a grand ole time, I say we do that again as well.

I can't remember the specific rules of the league as far as PPR and all that. Who ever has some input on that post it. If you want to make some changes to the rules, suggest them.

How to get into this league you ask? PM Steezy_P, he is the guy who you will send money to. He has collected all 4 years and paid out all for years. He will send you his paypal e-mail and once he gets paid you get an invite to the league with your e-mail.

It should have been set up starting this past weekend like a reverse playoff. 11 and 12 with byes, 7 plays 10, 8 plays 9, winner are eliminated and a regular ladder from there on out with winner eliminated each round until the worst team is crowned

I see it as loser of game 9 (i believe) is the overall loser. Once youre in the losers bracket regular season record doesnt matter

My line-up right now makes we want to puke. I don't have a reliable WR2 or flex. I'm forced to start Dez Bryant based entirely on upside, depsite the face that he is ALLERGIC tot he ball. My most reliable source of production, Jonathan Stewart, is out this weekend. Don't know whether to start James Jones, Isaiah Crowell, or Mike Tolbert in the flex. I want to start Eli but he's at Carolina, which is not good. Mariota at New England is even worse. I'm projected to lose by 20pts which is bad news bears for me. Being a one seed & all, that's gross.

yeah my team constantly underachieves. i might have come close to my projection like once in the last 6 weeks or so i don't have a ton of confidence with my squad

i mean, i'm starting deangelo williams, charcandrick west, and denard robinson in a playoff matchup. at the beginning of the season that would have been laughable

no doubt. I just can't believe the roster I'm putting out right now. I needed Doug Martin to have a big game last night to instill some confidence in me, and he was pedestrian.

It only takes Ted gin one catch to make his fantasy day. The Carolina offense is kind of built like that for the recievers. Do you need upside to win this week?

This has been a great weekend. In one league where I had scored the lowest total points in the league but managed to get tons of lucky match ups and secure a first round bye. This week I won my match up and am in the championship.


And in this league I am not last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry Kyle.

I know it was screwy when we got started with someone dropping out I think but majority of people paid so pay the winner. I think we agreed on $250 for winner and $50 for second so if there is at least $250 in the pot give that all to the winner, and what's left give to second?



Also, who got last, what happens to the shotski now?

Yeah I thought it was $250 for the winner ans 2nd got $50. I agree with JewBear...Give the winner $250 and $25 to 2nd. Whoever didnt pay owes 2nd place $25 if they ever want to join an NS league again.
