Adding text to video

I've seen edits where people will add like their name into an edit (say its a jump shot), and they put their name on the lip of the jump. When the camera moves to follow the jump, the text stays in the same spot..how do you do this?! Is it possible to do in iMovie?

You'll need to do a 3d camera track which youd need after effects to do.

Do some Google research, its a very common post production program made by adobe.

3d tracking using an editing/compositing program. IIRC premiere pro 2015 has a basic 3d tracker. I could be wrong though.

Nah, you have to 3d track with AE.

Need AE.

If you're in college. You can get the creative cloud from Adobe for very cheap monthly rate if you plan on using AE, Premier, Photoshop, Lightroom, and the other 20ish some they offer. That's what I do.
