cydwhitYeah! I'd be in aggressively and I'd be down to shoot anyone that showed up as well. I'll be based out of Driggs all winter as well as getting up to Schweitzer a bit hopefully so that would be dope. Idahome for life!
It would be really cool to get a bunch of homies out and have a group shred day or two.
Also, if anyone happens to ever be in the Driggs/Targhee/Jackson area hit me up, always love shredding with new people!
shin-bangYes! I would be down and have been wanting to meet up someplace with fellow nsers for a while. If we met up I would even pay you to get some shots haha! Are you ever around pebble Cy?
cydwhitHa, don't worry about that, I like shooting enough that I'm glad to do it whenever I get the chance. Since I'll be in Driggs for the winter I'll only be 2 hours away from Pebble so I'm planning on coming down a few times at least. It's also on the way from Driggs to Utah and I'm planning on getting down there a bit so I'll just have to stop by on my way...
Stoked!
.lenconWhere would be a good mountain to meet up? I was thinking something sort of central Idaho. Maybe sun valley, targhee could be fun and it's cheaper, with killer terrain.
cydwhitCome to targhee then I don't have to travel.
But for north Idaho Schweitzer makes the most sense a a for centeral Brundage perhaps?

.lenconYeah targhee could be a little hard for some people. Brundage, tamarack sound good, but I know nothing about them. Sun valley could be fun, but terrain can be limited and its $$$
.lenconHey guys, for everyone who has already posted in this thread and has yet to post, it would be awesome if you could give out your home mountain (so we can try to pick a central location) and also resorts you could travel to. I think Targhee, Sun Valley, and Brundage are some good ideas, but lets keep them coming. Only thing about Sun Valley I know of is that the prices are pretty expensive (especially for NS) and the 2 separate mountains/lack of diversity haha. Anyways I'm stoked on the responses so far and lets make this happen! It probably would be best if we could do this on a day over winter break or something, so more people could come out.

LJ.CorralesNah, I disagree with the lack of diversity. We choose either a park day or a Baldy day.
Also we could try to figure out a time that isn't peak tourist season so the tickets are less expensive.
.lenconI meant is we either have a day which is lapping all park (not all people want that) or just all groomers (not all people want that) but a place like targhee for example has a park, big lines, cliffs, groomers, pow all on the same mountain. And sun valley is generally more expensive than brundage or targhee I'm guessing.
If we have enough people we could possible get a group rate
chicknfriedsteakTarghee would be dope I agree but it's too far away for some of us. Seems like where ever it takes place, just going out and building some jumps and sessioning them would be the sickest thing to do. If we make this happen I'd like to film it too, and it would be easy to film one jump then every one lapping a park. Plus people are more confident to throw down in powder and in the group setting it would be a good time for people to be trying new tricks and what not.
.lenconA booter session off of galena summit?
chicknfriedsteakWell I couldn't travel that far, but that would be fucking dope place for the rest of you guys to do it.
.lenconWhere could you travel to? Where are you located?
Maybe we could do 2 Idaho ski days. Like one for people who could go go targhee/sun valley or something like that, that I could be in charge of, then someone could be in charge of one for you western/northern folk.
LJ.CorralesWhat time of year are we thinking for this? Winter break? I know here in SV late December is by far the best time of the year.
DeepskierSo are we going to meet up this winter do we want to do like some opening day thing over thanksgiving break or xmas or a spring slushsesh or multipul meet ups or something???
cydwhitI'll probably be skiing Targhee most days so if anyone is ever here just hit me up and I'm down to spin few with ya and maybe shoot some. If we just want to do some chill vibes booter building there are plenty of sick spots to do that around here too, I'm also super game to tour/build booters in the pass if anyone else wants to.
On that note. I want to do a lot of photos as well as video work this winter so if you happen to be in the area and want to get shot just hit me up. As long as you can at least do a 180 with a grab we can probably make something work, at least for a new Facebook picture for ya or something.
imakestickerzLooks like bogus will be my home this winter, I'm down to meet anywhere, I got room in my truck if you're leaving from boise
Barry.McCockinerIS THIS STILL A THING BECAUSE FUCK YEAH IM DOWN
GokuWell I'm broken now, but I'm down to drink beers
GokuWell I'm broken now, but I'm down to drink beers
.lenconYeah I think it would be a good idea to see if we can still do something. Maybe we can shoot for a little later in the season when you can get good deals on liftopia and when I'm not broke
JakeBarrettAnyone who still wants to do this, I think that a meetup at dollar mt. at Sun Valley would be the best. Its pretty central in idaho, lift tickets are like 59 bucks (unless they went up like the baldy ones did) and post skiing is pretty rad in Ketchum. plus if we do it later on their bigger jumps will be up for Rev Tour, so it'll be nice and sendy.
DeepskierBaldy closes April 17th and gaper day here is always lit so i think that would be sick and now they are moving some park over onto baldy and dollar closes i think next week or two. In terms of bug jumps they pushed them together so we have one mega 75 footer I haven't hit but it looks crazy. So we should do this meet this season some time in the next 2 or 3 weeks.
.lenconThe only free weekend I have is April 9th. And I guess I'm free after the 16th but most places will be forced to close by then
.lenconI'll be at Pebble Creek this weekend and I think Cy will be as well if anyone wants to come down. It's been absolutely dumping
DeepskierWell that sounds fine to me and since dollar is the pond skim i think that is the weekend it will close, but not sure i say fuck yeeeee lets organize this shit. fyi i fucking suck at park but i can always keep up and am fairly entertaining as far as i know.
JakeBarrettDollar closes this weekend, thats where the pond skim and jumps are. But Baldy is building a park for until they close
