Replying to I enjoy photography but I also want to film

i am a beginner to this, my budget is around $2000, I like to take pictures on my iPhone and my brother has an older canon PowerShot s5is that I like to shoot artsy pictures and film on. I want I nice camera that I will be able to take good pictures and good film on. I have a MacBook Pro with final cut for editing on. I do not know very much about photography I just know that it is interesting to me. What would be a good camera for me??!
