Replying to Becoming a Physicians Assistant

So I'm highly considering becoming a PA. I've done medically related things, taken medical classes, and all that. I know one PA pretty well and it sounds like a good job. So is anyone on this site a PA? Any tips/recommendations? I'm going to be attending my senior year in HS this year and will try to go to University of Utah since they have a good medical program and good skiing when I can make it out there, also it's not too far from home.
