Chronic vs domain

I just want the simple answer and input of what ski will last me longer on 80% rails 20% jumps. +++K

domain is durability is way superior from my experience of blowing out a chronic side wall and seen countless line skis break (no hate still sick skis) i would go with k2 domain not sure but i think k2 owns line and k2 usually being a little higher quality also the k2 recoils was one of the most durable skis i ever seen!

Domain will most likely last longer. Also pay attention to the zero camber on those which apparently makes swaps and surfaces swaps a bit easier. They also are a bit softer than the Chronic and have more rocker. If this doesn't fit your style I would go with the chronic. Don't buy a ski that you don't like.

4 seasons on my k2 recoils and they look better than one season on my Atomic Punx.

They both have die-cut bases soooo I would steer clear of both, Die-cut bases single handedly make a ski significantly less durable from my experience. Also on that level I consider K2 and Line on the same level of durability... and that level is pretty low. I have owned both and mowed through them. If that is the price point you want just pick the ski you like more, both are soft with slightly different shaped so pick the one you like more.

Oh shit I was thinking blend, not chronic. Chronic is probably your better option between these two skis, I believe if it has a diecut bases it is only at the tip and tail.

I been riding the chronics for two season now (+/- 100 days) and they are in really good shape. Just like you, I moslty do rails and absolutely love them. I would recommend them.

the edge of my chronic is almost completely separated from the actual base.

If I ski any longer, the whole inside edge would eventually peel right off.

Perhaps I got a bad pair.

Chronic has camber, whilst the domain is flat.. I would probably go with the domain in terms of durability. But the chronic is heaps of fun, nice and flexible on rails, but won't flex like a noodle.
